really though, i had an two interesting dreams last night, and am wishing someone has some time to interpret.

1st dream, i was at my mom's house. and for some reason, i cleaned her toilet, even though it was already clean. i took a brand new dishwashing scrubbing sponge in my right hand, and with a cleanser bottle in my left hand, i proceeded to clean. then i got just a little worried that someone may mistake the scrub i used to clean the toilet with one to use for the dishes. i think i threw away the sponge.

2nd dream, i was looking at old prom pictures and noticed that my date/friend was standing at arm's length away from everyone else we were going with that night (17 people total). every picture had Bob standing a little far away, and one even had him bending himself away.

I can give you my guess.

The first dream seems to indicate guilt concerning your mother, or some situation between the two of you that needs to be cleansed. It seems you are trying to rid yourself of some "dirt." Perhaps you feel shameful about something pertaining to that relationship?

The second dream, I am not so sure. Is this dream based on an actual experience? Do you still know Bob? What do you associate with him when you think about him?

The dream has something to do with the past and how you were associated with your group or society in general. It could be dealing with some sort of separation that you experienced, or a separation that you caused, perhaps the friend. Do you feel guilty about causing some separation, or becoming separated? Did you somehow push him away? It could also be that you lost touch with a masculine aspect of self at this time.

If the two dreams are looked at as a whole - one relating to the other - there could be something said about the female and male aspects of self and some problem blending the two, stemming from some event or time in the past. I am just not certain.

I would love to hear what an actual expert would say about these dreams.

Does anyone else have an idea?

yes, Bob was my real senior prom date. though the pictures in the dream were not real. and they were not in bright kodak colors, more like fuzzy neutral colors. we initially entered the same college together, but got separated. interesting observation Ra.

i feel sad that we got separated, though i don't know how he feels. i thought we were good friends, but we've gone our separate ways.

And the concern over the sponge suggests that perhaps a "mistake" was made during the "cleaning" and now you are beginning to realize it, again.

This is all still within the realms of the subconscious, so it may be difficult to see.

I am still looking at the dreams, though, for something different.
