In the relaxed state (Alpha beginning) when you are just drifting into sleep - I hear songs and music - a gentle, peaceful melody. Something part of Uni-verse? I can't make out the words though. It is not something I heard somewhere, I can say that.

What do you infer, Ra?

It is said that each layer, or each plane carries its own unique sound(s). Some instrumentally musical, some more like singing, some more natural - like the ocean or the wind. Some are said to be hideous, cacophonous. And some just completely indescribable.

I forget which plane carries which tones, but if I stumble across the description in my books, I will tell you.

I have personally heard many strange, but wonderful, sounds, usually almost angelic, like a giant chorus of angels chanting or humming or singing.

Anyone else?

I can hear it in the fan turning, the night sounds....almost a hum, but not. I hear it in the sound of the water when doing dishes. It used to be now and then, but now it is almost always.

And it alters just a tiny bit when someone enters a room. I hear it best outside when working in the yard.....like the ground itself is humming.

Either that or someone does have a radio on turned down very low, or I am receiving on my one and only tooth filing

The last thing you said, a chorus of angels singing - I think you came close. 'giant' - definitely not.

Yivy, you said something very interesting. I haven't heard it, but it seems like I used to hear it.

Wow, wow and more wow. Your energies are in sync with the energies of the galaxies.
No wonder, that answers quite a lot of questions.
Ok now we have these two people here, who are in sync with the universal energies of creation, alteration and destruction(I would see the last part only in a very possible light).
Ra and Yivy, pl. answer. Your thoughts-do they manifest themselvs? I am sure you are both aware of it-it must be happening.
Yivy-now a tiny bit of light is begining to come through as to why my contact with you was important.

Seeker...yes they do manifest, but it makes me much more responsible. IN fact there are times I wish they wouldn't. And more times than not, things still happen with no 'minding' from me. I think there is where the lessons from my HIGHER ELF are. Like using sandpaper to smooth the wood. I just wish at times SHE would use a smaller grit

Spiritua...you said the TRUTH there, kiddo! We all learn and grow by interacting with each other. And this site and all the wonderful 's here have taught me more in the last few years than my entire life.

I am aware, that there will be a lot of people here who have lots of gifts, but are not revealing themselvs...this is all part of the journey, we are all undertaking.
Each person here has come, when he or she has chosen to. Take my own case, I was reading the posts for a long long time, and it was only at the "annoited time", that I got the courage to open myself up in front of everybody.
Surprise, Surprise I received understanding and warmth, and I am opening myself up all the more.
In fact, if I dont open the site for a single day, I feel that I am missing something out of my day.

that's a lot of good karma that you have accrued with good wishes from all of us.

About hearing music before falling asleep, I thought I'd add my name to the list, Raj. Happens to me too YIVY, how strange...I used to hear music while doing dishes, as well! Thought I was the only one!

Many times when I'll hear the music, it sounds like YIVY described it...sometimes in fact I think someone has on a radio outside, with the music turned down real low. The music never seems to be coming from anywhere close to me, it always seems like it's from a distance away, maybe that's why I would think most of the time it had to be that someone...somewhere had on a radio.

Sometimes it's something like string instruments, sounding somewhat like a cello that's muffled. Sometimes it's something like woodwind instruments, not as deep as a tuba, but something like it...a little higher in pitch and muffled.

...I don't usually hear any sort of drumming sounds unless I'm lying down in the backyard stretched out, and have my ear turned towards the earth while catching some rays, or meditating in the bathtub underwater. Then, I hear drums

And, I every once in a while catch voices, though that's more I think of me picking up on random conversations while going to sleep.

Anyways, those are my experiences! I'd love to hear about those descriptions Ra, if you ever have the time and can find it!
