I was being chased again by a group of people. I don't remember why. I had to find a car to get away and there was a lot full of them but most of them were damaged or not working in some way. I was getting frustrated until I finally found one that would work. Hunter was with me and we jumped in the car and began driving to escape.

We drove down this dirt road and arrived at a small town that at first seemed threatening because it was very run down and dusty. The man that greeted us knew who we were although I never met him and he wanted to hide us from the people chasing us. He was very kind and he took us to a pier with a huge metal ship was docked. Apparently it was important to him and a place of reverance even though it wasn't operational and was half sunken. He told us to hide inside because no one would think to look there.

We did and the group chasing us did come to the town and were coming to the ship so the nice man had to take us elsewhere. I don't remember what exactly happened but next thing I know Hunter and I were walking with him and it was very very dark. At first we couldn't see anything.

He told me it was a different place and although the residents there could see normally I wouldn't be able to yet. Some things began coming into focus but it seemed like a very dark night in the new town. There were lights hanging from rafters over the village square where we were approaching but for me it was like small pinpricks of light. BUT the longer I walked around, slowly, I began to see better.

There was a young boy there - about 9 years old, I think. And he knew me and was very excited I was there. He was following me everywhere and hugging me and telling me it was amazing I was there.

I walked around as much as I dared without being able to see very well even though I felt very safe there. I was approaching a small street and I saw someone walking toward me but couldn't make them out until he was about 3 feet away. Finally I could see it was Marian and he was all dressed in black. He stopped and was looking at me intently. There were people around us trying to talk to him but they were calling him by another name but he ignored them because he was staring at me like he wanted to tell me something.

Oh the people chasing me! It wasn't anyone I know from waking life but they seem to chase me around a lot in dreams trying to destroy me. It's getting annoying. I'm a threat to them somehow.

I will finish the dream when I get a chance (probably Monday), but wanted to briefly tell you about a dream I had yesterday after going to sleep thinking of yours.

There was a great deal more to it, but I will abbreviate. I was in my car, driving away from something, the military I think, when I came to a dirt road and proceeded to follow it. It was an old, rough, rarely used dirt road, but it seemed like a good place to escape to. I made it to the end, where there was an old town in the making (I know that does not make much sense). I got out of my car, and what I was seeing was a beautiful field surrounded by woods, I remember thinking how awesome and beautiful it was, and how the town that was going to be there (and was there in some strange way) was a very warm and inviting place. There were people milling about and working in the field, constructing. An older man approached me. I did not know him, but he knew me. He said, "it has been a long time since anyone has come here - we have been waiting for you!" He was a very jolly type of person.

He took me over to a small building which was not physically constructed yet , it was just kind of transparent, astral. There was a pretty young woman there and she had a mirror. She was looking into this mirror, and I was seeing both her and her reflection. The reflection began to change. She began to get ugly (the reflection) and yet she was still pretty. Then, the stereotypical image of a witch became apparent, pointed hat and all. Her reflection kept morphing back and forth between the witch and her pretty self. It was a bit un-nerving.

The next thing I knew, I was back outside, watching a GIGANTIC hawk in the sky. Next, my son and I were standing on the foot of this tremendous bird as it flew through the sky - and I was seeing this in the third person perspective, watching us just flying away on this thing.

Later that night the similarities between your dream and mine (and the differences!) dawned on me, and now I am trying to see what my subconscious was attempting to tell me!

If I get a break from debating all of these people, perhaps I will get a chance to think about it! There must be some transit or something affecting me!

I'll say it was some debate!
The dream entailed driving away or escaping from the military. The association with Government and Politics. The poor thing was OVERLOADED!
Running away or escaping results from conscious pressure overload.

The witch was a young brunette, smooth skin, perhaps a roundish face, a bit exotic looking - but not too much, with a relatively thin body (by my standards) but not too thin, and curvy. She was trying to determine who she wanted to be, and kind of showing off her "powers," which was not very becoming. She was a peculiar one.

Randall - a debate indeed! I have not gone head-to-head with a man of the cloth in quite some time. He eventually called me an atheist, at which point a number of innocent by-standers interceded in my behalf (most are Christians themselves!) and told him very quickly that I am nothing of the sort. He was rather taken aback by that, and later that night apologized - as did I. But it WAS fun!

VenusWP - actually, the military was symbolic of blind-following and disciplined order. But my recent conversations no doubt had an influence in that symbology!

Being chased by this group could indicate some conflict or struggle you are having with some aspect of society, or with self. You find many different ways/paths/methods (cars) that could enable you to escape this conflict, but none are sufficient. Persistance or desperation finally yields success.

This method/vehicle that you have found leads you to unfamiliar territory by way of a path that is not trod by many (dirt road) and ends in a "place" that is old and not utilized much anymore. And there is someone here who knows you, offering help/guidance.

Here you are led to a place of transformation (metal), a place where unconscious forces - and perhaps emotions - (sea/water) are overtaking or meeting with the conscious (ship). This "place" is something spiritual/religious (reverence), perhaps a belief system that has been abandoned by society - for the most part - yet still revered by a few (Wicca?). But you cannot "hide" here for long. This belief system failing, you are guided further into the unconscious, into a place of magic and/or unawareness (darkness).

Who do you think the young boy is? He could symbolize a new energy developing within you, but I truly get the feeling that this could be someone you know, or knew, or were connected with. About nine years ago? Or around the age of nine? Just thoughts. How old is Hunter?

Now, about Marian. He symbolizes a connection with a greater mystery, a connection to magic/mystery that resides within your unconscious. Eyes are windows of the soul, and I feel he represents such a window. He is darkness within the darkness, a deeper step into the unknown, a window within that could provide focus in those areas of unawareness. He could even represent an opportunity of some kind - anything from spiritual to physical, I am not sure.

But I feel a dichotomy surrounding him (much as I do you) and I do not know "where" he is - in waking life - because he seems to be both light and dark. Curious.

In essence, the dream seems to symbolize systems that will fail, forcing you into unknown areas. But you will not be/are not alone. There will be/is guidance which could lead you to something ... more towards the core of you. Just be careful not to get lost in the dark!

At first I thought the witch might be me in your dream but I am not exotic at all! Well, I'm not a brunette, either, but Kian is.

Hunter is 3 1/2. The 9 year old.. I don't know who that could be. I'm guessing at the age, too... could have been an 8-10 year old. A lot of negative things happened to me at that age.

Your interpretation makes sense And what you said about Marian is really interesting. I wish I knew more about this dichotomy you see.

she um.... sounds alot like me... though I do try and not show off my powers. But the rest of it, from the description to her wanting to determine who she was sounds like me... dunno if this is good or bad LOL (and I am rather peculiar too)

The man in your and Amber's dreams was in mine last night. He was wearing that hat and a vest... he was a security guard in mine and was moving me around alot.
