I remember my first dream because I thought it was an actual event that I was witnessing. I was 2 years old and while I remember the dream vividly (I never forgot it) I will only say here that it involved Pegasus.

The next dream that I remember happened when I was 8.

Anyone else remember their first (or early) dreams?

The first dream that I can say that I remember is a recurring one from when I was 4-5.
Ohhhkay, it was short and it sounds silly, but here it is:
I would be asleep on my bed in the middle of the room (in my dream), and I'd "wake-up" to my room filling with water. I'd look over the side, and once the floor was no longer visible a cartoonish (but terrifying to a kid) alligator would slowly rise-up until he had the log-effect going on. Then his eyes (yellow and fairly centered on the top of his head) would focus on me, his eyes would roll, and the different parts of his mouth would go back and forth (to imagine what I mean, place your palms together and pivot your hands using the base of your palms as the pivot point) with his teeth fitting-up so that they slid over one another.
Of course, at that point I'd wake-up in terror; although I remember that it scared me much more when I first starting having it then by the end. Perhaps that's why it stopped: I wasn't frightened anymore. Still, I think that's why I still remember it.

Hey SW -
I'll trade you for your Pegasus!

Hiya Guys

Pegasus? WOW!

I remember a recurring dream from when i was about 3 or 4. It was about hammerhead sharks - it was very detailed and went for about three years (On and off)... I can't remember why it stopped....

Funny, I remember a lot from I was really small, but no dreams...The first dreams I can remember is from when I was 7. In one dream I was chased by soldiers in the jungle and couldn't get off the spot..In the second dream I was driving my stepdad's Morris. And I could really drive - it was fantastic...That dream occured just when I learned to bicycle..

I had a recurring dream for years, and I had it when I was 4 years old until high school, and occasionally parts of it pop into my current dreams.

I am on a square ice skating rink, that has a charcoal grey cement wall on the back, and a cement roof (flat) and two greek style pillars on the 2 front corners. There is nothing surrounding this rink except thick, cold fog. There is a sculpture of Cupid on the top middle of the big wall, poised with a bow and arrow.

My whole family is skating, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. Then my aunt falls down. She has been shot with an arrow. One by one my family members fall down dead from this stone Cupid that has come to life, but it is not scary to me. Finally, I am the only one left. Cupid, with a blank expression, points his arrow at me and shoots. It comes straight to my forehead and I wake up.

I wonder where that came from at such an early age?

I have no clue what my first dream was. I don't think I have many memories at all before 5 years old...

I was about 3 or 4. In my dream my older brother and me and another little girl(who turned out to be my best friend a few years later) were playing some game. All of the sudden behind my brother I saw dracula break through the window. I tried to scream for him to move but it was too late. Dracula stabbed my brother in the heart and it went in very slow motion. I remember him falling to the bed and that's all I remember.(Except that I woke up crying and went to find my mom.)
I've always wondered what it meant I guess mainly because it was the first one I ever remembered. Where's Ra when you need him?

Here I am!

Most of these dreams are probably reflections of things we saw on television as children, and the fears that went along with them, although there is certainly a mix of psychology involved.

But there are two here that I suspect are past-life memories.

Nebel, I would love to hear more about that dream. I get the impression of seafaring and perhaps a sinking ship.

Katiebull, I get very strong impressions from your dream. Do you remember about what age you were in the dream? I suspect very young. The details are a bit "foggy", perhaps coloured by a child's mind (in the past-life), but as soon as I read your dream, these words came directly into my head: - "They were assassinated, the entire family." - How does that strike to you? Out of curiousity, do you have migraines or other head-oriented problems in this life?

Raines, I do not know about yours! (figures, right? ) But this could also be a reflection of some past-life memory. Does your brother have any sort of heart-area problems? Not that he should, but it would be interesting if he did.

What do you all think?

I was really intrigued by Katiebull's dream, too and thought a lot about it without getting anything out of it...The way you describe this scene, Katiebull, it reminds me of the houses and courtyards at Pompeii...and drawings from ancient houses here in Greece. They have marble floors and it struck me that marble get slippery like ice when it gets wet (from rain or blood).

I just want to add that Rudolf Steiner (and probably a lot of other psychics, too) is of the opinion that children up to six-seven years old are spiritual and open - that makes it even more interesting to look at dreams by young children. My son, aged 2 1/2, shouted out the name of his uncle while sleeping just when his uncle died..Now I wished I had paid more attention to the dreams my kids had when they were younger.

wow! I wish I could remember dreams that young!! ehhh is it normal not to remember anything before the age of 5? I think my earliest memory was my brother being born when I was 5.

I have old recurring dreams that I remember.. but those were at earliest when I was 10 years old and onward.

I used to walk in my sleep. I'd wake up in the bathtub or in my brother's bed and push him out thinking it was my bed. Sometimes I'd wake up and not know where I was and try to get out of my bedroom by going through the wall because I thought there was a door there.

Once my mother told me I walked into the living room, blinked several times, said "Wow.. the grass is really green around here..." and then sleep walked back to bed. That story ammuses me

Hiya Guys

Ra The shark dream went for ages – each few months the next installment would come along… it started by me walking down a track to the beach… the beach had a sea wall – separating the beach from the water… I began walking along this wall… I came to a sort of semi circle in the wall, and in this semi circle were the hammerhead sharks – I can’t really remember what the sharks were doing, other than swimming around as sharks do …up to this point the water and atmosphere was like a tropical beach – warm and sunny… this was until I came across a jetty (pier) that jutted onto the water… I walked onto the jetty and looked into the water… it was really deep, rough and the waves were crashing into the jetty… the water was clear – but was full of really huge seaweed… it was only at this stage that I become a little scared – that’s where the dream stopped…

This is a great topic SnowWhite

Amber, I have 2 replies to your question. Not remembering anything before your 10 could be that something happened to you at a young age that you choose to block out or you could be a walk-in. I've often heard that walk-ins don't seem to remember much of things, especially from an early age.

Two dreams that I had all the time when I was a child. In the frist one, I dreamed that I was in a type of cage, like those that the circus took the animals. It was a small cage, of my size. I was arrested looking through the grating of the cage and there was a hunter, dress with safari clothes, he waited for some animal. I could see a lion that he didn't get to see. I didn't know if I was more afraid of the lion or of him.

In the other dream I was a teen, girl and there was a boy with me. We used white long clothes, with a beautiful belt done of colored stones. We walked togheter , as if we were dated and we didn't have any hair in our heads.
We walked until a high place done of big stones, it was not a pyramid, but it was very similar and there I loosened his hand and followed alone. I remember that I was very sad when I said good-bye to him.

When I was in Mexico several years ago I saw a place very similar to the one of my dream, but maybe it was just a suggestion.

Anyway, it's great to remember these dreams...

A walk-in is where one soul steps out of a body and another soul steps in. Did I explain that right?? Let's say that you need a certain lesson but do not need to go through the whole life. You might strike a deal with another soul to do the first part for you (mucho brownie points for that soul) then at the alloted time, that soul steps out and you step in. They say Jesus was a walk-in. Some other soul was born and at the right time that soul stepped out and Jesus stepped in.....at least that was the way I understand it.

the dream i remember most vividly from my childhood was one i would have every time i had a fever:

there is a massive field, both the sky and the field are sort of neutral brown colors. i am walking through the field, and a variety of things would happen on different occasions: sometimes i would have to bend down and tie my shoe, others i'm picking dandelions, sometimes there are people working hard in the field, sometimes i would interact with other children, some of them going in the other direction as me. Eventually I always get to this large un-creative looking warehouse type of builing, stouter than it is tall. It is black. Inside there are so many people working hard on a machine that fills almost the entire building. It is like the building is a sort of skin or shell for this almost living mechanical creature. I would wake up totally freaked everytime, although as it became more familiar i would just kind of deal with the occurance and know it would only come when i was sick. i would expect it almost, and return to sleep, return to the same dream and wonder/ float around the landscape.

wierd!?

Raines ~ that's a cool concept but a little creepy at the same time! Where did you learn about walk-ins? Is that a Linda concept?

Raines , you explained very well ,this is what I understand about Walk-in also.

Hi Amber

I just want to add something to what Raines said.Walk-in is a Spirit's concept that in a short description say that a Soul exchanges (classic walk-ins) take place when one Soul walks out their body and leaves forever and another Soul walks in and stays for the rest of that body's natural life.

These are some symptoms:

1- Extended period of unconsciousness while ill
2- Some "memory loss" or episodes of "lost time"
3- Dramatic change in "belief systems" and/or religion
4- Dramatic shift in interests and spending time
5- Inexplicable acquisition of talents and abilities
6- New approaches to solving unsolvable problems
7- Overwhelming evidence you are "not yourself"
8- "Significant others" saying you are "different"
9- Sudden leaving of long term marriages or jobs
10- Rapid series of challenging "life" poblems

I don't think that Linda wrote about Walk-in,at least I don't remember that I had read anything about it on her books.

Jakie, very well put yourself. 'Cept I'm not sure if it is always forever. I think sometimes one might be visited for a short time to perhaps teach them something otherwise they might not have learned.

Hiya Guys Ra

Ra I'm not really sure what happenend - but falling in does sound likely... Was that a guess or a feeling you had??
It sounds even more likely considering at least 4/10 of my dreams for as long as i can remember have been about water: falling in, tidal waves, fish, boats, swimming etc... may have been a pattern that was started then?... (and has till now been unresolved??)

Thanks heaps for your help

Snowwhite, thanks for starting this topic! There's really so much interesting stuff here! Like all of you, I'm eagerly waiting for Ra to come and give us some feedback. This forum trigged my memory and I remember a dream I had when I was about five: The dream was a "still picture". There was an "earthquake", but the earth actually did open and people fell in. There was panick and people were running away (from were I was watching), except one woman in a mustardyellow dress who ran towards me, the picture is showing her 15-20 meters away with her arms stretched out.
