i wrote it down on 3/17/02

speaking of oddity dreams...

on February 22nd, i had a dream about Phil...the season was fall...we were in a house, and lots of people were there...Kevin was there, and Clare i do remember those people distinctively...the kitchen was red...people were mingling and such, and Phil and I were sitting on a patio, from the patio was a sliding glass door that led into the living room, and then from there was the kitchen, which was like one big open room...there were 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms down the hall turning right from the living room, and 1 bathroom at the end...and 1 bedroom, 1 bath to the left of the living room...

there was a tan couch in the living room, and it faced the sliding glass door that led to the patio...there was very pretty furniture out there, and there was a wrought iron bench that we were sitting on...the sun was starting to go down and leaves covered the patio...they were falling off of the trees behind the patio. it was sortof like an area of woods behind the patio..hence me knowing the season...but leaves were all around us...

we went in the house into the red kitchen and were talking...we talked to Kevin...then, all of a sudden there was LOTS of people in the kitchen/living room area and Phil became very uncomfortable, so we decided to go outside and walk through the woods on the path there...i went left out of the kitchen to get my shoes out of a bedroom, the bedroom was the last door on the left and it was Phil's room, but it was like a child's room...the bedspread had race cars on it and there were posters of race cars on the walls..you know, like Matchbox cars...i sat on the floor and was putting my shoes on and thought to myself, why does Phil have all these toys in here?

i then walked into the living room looking for Phil, but couldn't find him...sitting on the couch was an older man, and i thought i recognized him, he said "hello Mandy, it's been a long time" and i looked closer at him and he was one of my uncles, then he morphed into all of my uncles one by one..even deceased ones...i was frightened and ran outside yelling for anyone who was there and there was noone there...just the bench and falling leaves all around me...everyone was gone.

Then, in February of this year..right before this dream, we met up again..this time I flew to Dallas, to stay with our mutual friend Suzanne, who had flown up to Chicago the fall that I went...anyway..Phil flew down with Kevin...THE person that I went to Chicago to meet in the first place! Him and Clare anyway...

So..Phil and I, with everyone else, were together a weekend in February in Dallas. My husband is aware obviously that I went on these trips, and doesn't have a problem with it. I am a trustworthy person. Phil and I did however seem to share a connection of some sort while in Dallas..it was as if we could read each other's minds...and we were "joined at the hip" that weekend.

So...when I dreamt this dream shortly after coming home from Dallas, I had sworn off flying, as I had a dream about the plane crashing..I saw the airline name, United and the flight numbers 8 and 6 on the side of the plane...I saw the plane turn upside down and could feel the people falling out of their seats...I heard them screaming while the plane was in the air..I then saw it nosedive and burst into flames...the whole while I was telling my mother "that would have been my plane"

so..I had sworn never to fly again, I balled my eyes out the entire flights...I was a wreck. But, I had an urging and I decided to do it again...and went to Chicago a few weeks ago...and true to some of my dream...things happened there that were similar. I didn't know I would be attending a party for Phil...or that the surroundings would be similar...
