I was talking to a person that is HIV positive . This person use the cocktail of medicines that lessens the effects of the disease, but for having serious colateral effects, the doctors already altered her medication 3 times.
In the moment, she is taking 33 pills a day, and with these medicines she has nightmares, sometimes five per night.

So I began to think, if the medicines affect the dreams... also drugs and alcoholic drink could do the same .

Then,this is my question:

Which is the credibility of a dream if a person is under the effect of alcoholic drinks ?
Can this dream be interpreted like any other dream or it suffered influences of the alcohol ?

Good question!

I imagine alcohol would effect dreams, but I think it might break up the sleep a bit and that might be what is happening to your friend. Perhaps all the drugs are effecting her sleep patterns and she is awaking more often, which can be frightening, well probably plus the drugs are making her mind work over time. I am so sorry to hear she has to take 33 things, that is so much.
Has she been doing other things to boost her immune system, like garlic and cayenne, and avoiding pot, cigarettes and alcohol. I really hope she is OK. Please let us know how she does. I hope the drug companies are simply not trying to make money off of her and sometimes they do that you know, they don't tell people what could be helping them, they only prescribe them things that have side effects that they have to then prescribe more for.

Dear Webmaster...Why are you behind the wall ?

Fajita

Thanks for your kind words.

In the reality she doesn't use drugs or alcohol, at least not that I know.
What affects her dreams is the medication ,but this effect is waited. The doctors say that it is normal...

My question it's because I made the connection between drugs, medicines and alcohol.
How strong it's the influences of those things in our dreams... should we give credit to one dream if we are under the effect of any hallucinogenic ?

Yes, we give credit.

Different drugs affect dreams differently - some dull the dreams, some enhance or vivify them, others distort them. I ... ummm ... have perhaps too much experience in this area. I have done most of the more common drugs out there (and some not so common ) ... of course all of this is in the DISTANT past. *crossing fingers, looking for lightening*

But seriously, I do not do them anymore, and I now have almost unbearably vivid dreams - and quite understandable.

Sometimes drugs/alcohol can loosen our consciousness up enough (or too much) to delve a bit deeper - and sometimes they can hamper.

Fajita

Yeah...believe me...wine,scotch,dry martini...not all together,of course...each party has it's on drink...

The only "drug" I use it's alcohol.
I have an aspect in my chart that is an alert and I should be careful :

" You should avoid all mind-altering drugs, including alcohol, even when prescribed by a physician, if possible. Such drugs can reactivate hidden fears that you had adjusted to, which could cause serious psychological damage.
Learn to deal with your unconscious fears and pressures through your conscious mind, where it is easier to stay in control. Drugs may bring up issues to consciousness before you are ready to deal with them."

Thanks God-dess I only have parties on weekends

Stella

Dreams are ruled by Neptun ?!
Of course... I just never though about it...
