Topic: sleep walking/talking in sleep

ok, so I have always talked in my sleep...I've been told by my parents throughout my whole life that I talk in my sleep...even when I was a small child and they've always said it sounds like a foreign language...even my old boyfreind told me the same thing without ever knowing that I had a history of talking in my sleep and that it sounded like a foreign language(I speak english and know a little spanish)...now apparently it has progressed into sleepwalking.....I remember this one particular time I was standing next to my bed kindof trotting around in a circle...my mother came in the room to turn my tv off and she asked what I was doing...and apparently..I was still asleep...and didn't "snap out" of it when she asked me...so..she just left the room...then I "woke up" standing next to my bed kind of scratching my head...got back in bed and went to sleep... the next morning..my Mother said..."what the heck were you doing last night next to your bed...jogging in place?" and I was like..."what?" then I remember waking up standing next to my bed and not sure how or why...kind of funny but weird.... Then..the other night...I have a few stuffed animals that I've saved from when I was a kid and one from an old boyfreind on top of my beureau...which is TALLER than I am...I'd need a stool or something to reach anything on top of it...so anyway..i wake up yesterday and I'm just kind of laying in bed and I feel this lump underneath me so I'm thinking it's the TV remote...I go to reach for it and it's one of the stuffed animals from the top of the beureau...BIG scratch on my head as to how it got there because I'm only 5'3". I've broken 3 remote controls from throwing them across the room in mid slumber...it ususally wakes the house up because it has hit the wall every time...I always sleep through it..then my Dad wakes me up and says..."what the hell are you doing?"..and the only reply I have is..."Sleeping?"...kind of funny but WEIRD...anybody have any insight? What you say about the foreign language is so interesting! I just read in a book that Mercur retrograde in a natal chart can be an indication that you haven't completly forgot the language of your last incarnation. It should be very interesting if you managed to record this language and find out which language it is! I'm sure it's a language you once spoke in a former life.As for sleep walking..I walk (and talk) in my sleep, too. Always done. I don't know why some people do and some don't? The most scary episode happened at a friend's place. We had been watching this thriller where Audrey Hepburn plays a blind woman. There is a scene in the film where she walks around with a knife in her hand, to kill the bad guys. Well, in the middle of the night, my friend wakes up because I stand over her bed with my hand raised, as if I was holding a knife, ready to stab...She woke me up. I remembered I had dreamed or maybe even been in the kitchen searching for a knife. It was really frightening.

Yes the talking in another language is really interesting! I wonder what that's all about. Did they say what language it sounded like or just a different language in general? That's pretty cool  I used to sleep walk a lot but I haven't in a long time. I often used to wake up already in a sitting position, in the living room, with my eyes already open, staring at the fish tank. Once I woke up in the bathtub. I'd sometimes wake up in my brother's bed and wonder what he was doing in my bed and push him out! Often, I'd wake up in my bed and just be so confused and not know where I was or WHO I was for quite a long amount of time. Once, I did that at night and it was pretty dark. I had to go to the bathroom and I got out of bed and couldn't find the door and I KNEW it was right there on that wall. Well I ended up ripping a lot of my posters off the wall looking for the doorknob because I was so disoriented I didn't even realize the door wasn't really there at all but on the other wall. There was one time I sleep walked into the living room and my mother was awake. I said "Wow.. the grass is really green around here!" and then went back to bed. My mom STILL laughs about that. I don't know WHY it happens, though, so I'm not much help there. ------------------

My family used to tell me I spoke like an alien when asleep ... sounding oriental or something.I once came down my steps into the dining room (about age 10 ) and demanded that they give me the f-ing P38 right now! Years later I found out that a P38 is a military issue can opener ... which fit perfectly with my thoughts about a particular past-life. Sometimes, for some of us, our unconscious minds just get the better of us!   IP: Logged |

my parents...and my old boyfreind said they don't know what kind of language it sounded like to them but it definatley wasn't gibberish...they said it flowed as if I were having a conversation with someone...odd thing is....I have an aptitude for languages..I study voice and a lot of the songs are in a different language and my teacher is amazed at my ability to learn the proper diction witout ever having had classes in Italitan, Latin, German, French, Russian...blah..blah...blah...weird...BUT..my Moon is in Pices and so is my ascendant as well as Jupiter all in the first house which I have been told could have something todo with it IP: Logged |
