I had a dream a few nights ago in which I was at a funeral for 11 babies (whatever the name for 11 babies in a multiple birth is). There were 11 little caskets propped up diagonally on a long table in front of an auditorium stage. There were lots of flowers & everything was in pastels. I recall someone saying that one baby came down with something & then the other babies all came down with the same thing (almost like a domino effect) & died within minutes of each other. Then I woke up. The biggest thing that sticks out in this dream to me is the number 11. For some reason I remember thinking Feburary 11th just as I woke up. Any thoughts?IP: Logged |

Hi Yasmin, In my dream book, the number 11, interprets to argurments, disagreements, and conflict in family or friends. But then again, it's just my dream book, which has a tendency to always be innacurate. In Linda Goodman's Star Signs, the Chaldeans stated that the number 11, "A Lion Muzzled-A Clenched Fist," means that there are hidden trials and treachery from others going on at this time. There could also be conflicting desires inside of you. The number 11 is also ruled by the zodiac sign Cancer. Cancer is a very motherly and maternal sign and it's no coincidence that you saw 11 babies. The funeral symbolizes, that of a new phase of your life, and that things may end. Babies are supposed to symbolize success, fullfillment, or a feeling of purpose. But in this dream there taking on a deeper meaning that I'm not sure of. In my Tarot deck, the number 11 is ruled by Justice, also ruled by Libra the scales. This card means that you must achieve balance in order for life success to occur. Justice also rules Karma, "cause and effect." Perhaps, your karma is the route cause of your problems at this time. Justice must and will achieve balance in your life. Coffins, also symbolize an end of a cycle in your life, which is just enhancing the interpretation. -StarLover IP: Logged |

In addition to what StarLover writes: A baby in a dream can be a real life "baby" - a job project, a scool project, a hobby, a dream, an idea...Burying a baby might indicate that you also buried a real life project. You write that one baby got sick and then this spread to the other ten babies..Maybe an indication of one dream or idea that failed or was buried and which led to several other ideas/dreams to be buried, too... But a baby can also be a baby. I have often had dreams about a dead baby when I get my period. I don't know how old you are or if you have children, but this dream could also be an indication of burying the dream of having babies/a family. Maybe you feel you've lost a chance - the one baby getting sick - and that this can lead to all the potential babies catching the same disease and die (not having babies at all?). I don't know what relationship you have to numerology, but I believe the number 11 means something different to someone who's very into numerology than to someone who's never heard about it. 1+1=2, which is February the second month. One woman plus one man make two, and man and woman make babies...The pastels and flowers in your dream makes me think of romance, so does February... IP: Logged |

Since this was a multiple birth...Having 11 babies together that all will live have never happened. Are you taking on too much or have too big expectations? I mean, if you expected only one or two or three "babies" (=dreams, projects, ideas) they would live, but eleven at once?IP: Logged | |
