Dearest dreamers,A friend rang me up this evening to tell me about a dream dreamt by her-S-ELF a few nights ago, which to her did not appear as disturbing as it did to me when I first heard it!  If any of you Knowflakes would like to share your interpretations of this dream, your visions on the message it carries or simply the thoughts it inspires in you... I'd - we'd be forever thankful! This is the dream... IN CAPITALS. My comments of her circumstances are in brackets. For want of a better word, we'll call the dreamer Angel. 
ANGEL IS RETURNING HOME ONE DAY (where she lives with her partner and a 3yo son).
SHE IS BRINGING HOME WITH HER FIVE LITTLE BABY SNAKES. SHE KNOWS THAT A FEW OF THE BABY SNAKES ARE HARMLESS, BUT SHE ALSO KNOWS THAT SOME OF THE BABY SNAKES ARE VERY POISONOUS AND SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHETHER THE POISON HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY EXTRACTED. SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHICH IS WHICH AND THE LITTLE SNAKES ARE ALL DIFFERENT SPECIES. INSIDE HER HOME, AS THE ANGEL PUTS THE BABY SNAKES DOWN, ONE OF THE SNAKES CRAWLS AWAY AND FLEES. ANGEL DECIDES TO FRANTICALLY RUN AFTER THAT LITTLE SNAKE, WITH WELLBEING OF HER 3YO IN MIND. AS SHE CHASES THIS LITTLE SNAKE AROUND THE HOUSE, ALL OTHER BABY SNAKES CRAWL OUT OF THE SMALL BASKET! ANGEL IS NOW IN DESPERATE SEARCH FOR THE LITTLE SNAKES, WHICH ARE NOW BEGINNING TO GROW BEFORE HER EYES INTO PROPER BIG SNAKES. ANGEL IS NOW DETERMINED TO KILL THEM AND TAKES A PIECE OF WOOD TO CHOP THEM IN HALF. (I know this sounds awful!  ) SHE MANAGES TO KILL ALL BUT ONE, BY WHICH TIME THE LAST SNAKE GREW INTO A 8 FEET MONSTER, AND THE PIECE OF WOOD BECOMES RATHER USELESS. AS ANGEL EVENTUALLY CAPTURES THE LAST SNAKE, ANGEL PUTS IT IN A BIG WOODEN BOX TO BE BURNT! AND ALL FIVE SNAKES ARE KILLED IN THE END.  A big applause for all your efforts everyone... My first thougth was: Whatever the problem was, she's killed it!
Coming home: Becoming herself again. Being where you belong. I don't know what the snakes represent to your friend, but in classic dream interpretation snakes are fallos symbols or represent sexual energy. Is Angel hiding her sexual energy in a basket? Some of the snakes has had their poison exctracted, but she doesn't know which. Can poison be fertile sperm? Is she afraid of having sex because she might get pregnant? Well, the snakes leave the basket and crawl all over the house, the house often symbolizes the body. And are killed in the end.
A snake is a powerful symbol. Think about the snake in Paradis. A problem. A baby snake is a small problem. Angel has several small problems hidden in a basket, and she's afraid that whatever this problem is, it can hurt her son. Her son might be a symbol of her own inner child, or vulnerable part. Then she discover that the problem is out of the basket, it's growing dangerously, but she manages to kill it. No harm done. Actually, she's shown her strenght.(PS: I hope no one is offended because I wrote about sex here...) IP: Logged |

And I must say, I'm so excited to be here.
First of all, Stella, I am impressed with your interpretation of this dream I had. As the matter of fact, as I was saying to my very favourite Miracle, it crossed my mind snakes could symolize problems (I left them unsolved - till they've actually grown).
Considering sexual aspect, I was astound with the poison-sperm connection. I do feel unconfortable when I think about pregnancy.I also have to mention that this dream was followed by a few more interesting dreams, and it's been a while since I've had so many clear messages in them.
One of them was that I went to the dentist (teeth represent strong karmic situations or lessons in my reality, whether good or bad). Funny thing was, he put a acupuncture needle through my cheek and kept it there for an hour. It was unconfortable for me, but he kept repeating "Work it out. Go there, to the very moment it appeared, to the very Cause of it. Make it swim out to the surface of your consciousness". At first I couldn't understand what he ment, but then I felt the strong emotional reaction coming as I became conscious of the couse of my bad tooth! That's it! A kiss and a hug to all! IP: Logged |

Very interesting, yes, and maybe not so strange - the teeth are fixed, liek your karmic lesson...
Welcome, Dreamflake! Where in Croatia are you girls? It's sort of "just around the corner from where I am..." (OK, not, really, but a lot closer than US).

Do I feel wellcame!Teeth, yes... I've noticed this connection long ago. For example, when I dream anything considering my front teeth - I know it's something fresh, and whatever I'm solving may also be done in this life, my childhood maybe. Those teeth in the back are something old. If they're healthy, I know I'll be witnessing something of my "good karma". If I go to dentist, I'll be fixing something. It just occured to me dentist might represent our higher consciousness. We do change our karma, daily. And we are welcomed by our higher sELF.
Many times earlier I used to dream my teeth, crushing and breaking, and me, spitting all those small pieces in my palms.
Such dreams I'm not afraid, but make me feel sad, since I think they might represent me, but not learning my lesson. Love and peace..... IP: Logged |

I agree! It's intriguing that I decided to put braces on my teeth which timely coincided with many of my intensive spiritual realisations and "actualisations". I have also dreamt of my teeth with braces on them - the front teeth being fixed, connected to the side and back teeth!Isn't it amazing that we refer to back teeth as WISDOM teeth?  Jackie, look who's talking!!!Stella, yes there has been a quake in Dubrovinik round about the time you mentioned. Also, it repeated more recently in 1992. The southern most tip of Croatia appears to be prone to such things. Any particular reason why you're interested? IP: Logged |

Miracle, you know how sometimes you don't know if your childhood memories are memories or not? Well, I thought I remembered, and this confirms I remembered correctly, that my dad came home from a trip to Yugoslavia and told me about this terrible earthquake that had been. Then I had this dream about an earthquake, I still remember it vividly, and I wondered if it was trigged by what my dad told or if it could be a past life memory... IP: Logged |

 I wonder what dreaming of earthquakes might mean? The last quake absolutely devastated a small village of Konavle, very near Dubrovnik, which abounds in 15th century Venitian architecture! IP: Logged |
