dreamed there was this ghosty thing living in the house named FeverFew but he called himself Few. He was tall and very thin.. sickly.. living in that part of the house I always dream about and have problems with. He wore dark robes and spoke like a child and referred to himself in the third person.

I had a sort of calming effect on him but he was really quite nasty and had gross and depressing thoughts. He would turn into a dissheveled owl on occasion.

I guess the most interesting part of the dream was the end because I went into a sort of trance in the dream and I was talking to myself. I said "Trouble is coming. From where? Remember this. 5, 7, 9. From where? L. Remember L. Lithuania?? I don't know. L. " And then rows and rows of Nazi planes flying overhead.

It was disturbing and I woke up hot all over and with heartburn... blech!

FeverFew is a plant, a flower. If you look at the name: Fever + Few; Fever you know what to make of. Weird you woke up feeling hot all over. Like you had fever or was burned? I don't know if it is a healing plant, but it sounds like it. So although FeverFew was sickly and nasty; I have a feeling you can help each other.

Few, as this odd fellow called himself, is derived from latin "fugare"; to drive away. Related to "fugere" to flee (think fugitive).

Whether he was driving something(fever, restlessness) away, or fleeing from something... I think it says something about a side of you that you don't appreciate very much, but if you DID give FeverFew some attention and help, it would be to your own sole benefit. Obviously, your attention had a calming affect on him...

And then turning into a disheveled owl: Owl as a symbol represents the feminine, the moon, the night, the mystery of magic (both black and white), omens, silent & higher wisdom, night vision, and being able to extract secrets. Owls have also been thought of as reincarnation of the dead.

The owl is a symbol of the night, and the night is a symbol of of the darkness within -the place in which humans hide their secrets.

Maybe this FeverFew you dreamt of is your subconscious taking shape, representing a night/owl side of yourself, mixing both masculine, more destructive, negative darkness and the owlish feminine intuitive "darkness"; a tool for you to use to get rid of the restlessness and "fever" regarding who you are and especially your quest for your past life?

This is Amber but I've changed my screen name Thank you for your input and taking the time to type all of that out!!

I have heard of the plant FeverFew before but didn't really know about it's properties. I think I should look that up now...

so according to my books:

Feverfew magical properties: protection against colds, fever and accidents.

Feverfew herbal remedies: supposed to be very good or migraine headaches or to relieve the pain of insect or vermin bites.

As a side note, I do suffer from migraines.

Maybe I should make the effort to sleep on the couch from 4am to 6am. That seems to be where and when my dreams of this nature happen. I'll have to get myself to not be such a wimp in some of them, though! I have to practice some lucid dreaming. I'm going to try that tonight!!

Perhaps it is all connected to my most recent incarnation..
