Two dreams:

First night I dreamt I was in my childhood home, walking from my bedroom upstairs, passing another bedroom. Inside was a huge table that belongs to a set of furniture that was given as a wedding present to my paternal grandparents.

It was covered with "stuff"; materials and tools and a thin layer of foamy material was being fastened to the tabletop.

Obviously, my stepmother was changing the use of the table; in my opinion being disrespectful and ruining it. I got furious, and confronted my father who came walking up the stairs, about this matter. My stepmother answered in his place, cooly ignoring my anger. My father said nothing and backed down the stairs again. I told my stepmother she had no right to do this, the table was our (meaning me and my siblings) family inheritance and -values she was ruining. She did not seem to react at all.

The next night I dreamt my (real) mother gave my sister a huge, long, beautiful tabletop. Only the tabletop, no legs. I got a letter-size envelope from her, and when I opened it, it turned into a tabletop as well. Not as big and beautiful as my sisters, but still a tabletop. No legs or base to put it on, though.

Any input, anyone?

Walking from your bedroom to another bedroom might indicate that you've been sleeping or that a conflict/problem has been sleeping, but that you know wake up. The table represents your inheritance, and your stepmother has now put "everything on the table" - you can see the tools and everything she uses. The foamy material might indicate that she's trying to soften her actions. Your protests are ignored and your father backs of, not even willing to face the problem.
The second dream might indicate that the inheritance you'll get will be from your mother, not your father. No legs - you have to stand on your own legs.
