I was trying to escape some kind of massacre, some kind of religious or ethnic persecution. I had escaped onto a rooftop of an outhouse or something, and behind the roof of the main house I could see the masts of the ships in the port that the persecutors had arrived with. I was thinking of them as pirates. It was dark and the masts looked black in the night. I was about fifteen years old (I could "feel" the body, feeling light and tiny compared to myself). I was wearing some oriental style leather slippers with a red and white pattern, and I just knew that the persecuters would see my shoes and clothes and realize that I belonged to that specific ethnic/religious group that they wanted to kill. (My feet in the dream was probably a size 36, not the huge feet I have now, but they were mine..). Everywere around me they were slaughtering people (it was dark and I didn't see this, but I knew what was going on). I was so scared, I was leaning towards the wall of the house and trying to make myself invisible. But then I couldn't take it anymore, it was too scary, so I tolded myself to wake up. I woke up, properly, this happened twice or three times, but each time as soon as I fall asleep I feel back into the dream again. I could see this big black shadow coming towards me. Now I was really aware that I was dreaming, and I really couldn't take it anymore, and it didn't help waking up, so my friend V. (that I was staying with that night) came to help me. She was wearing her normal clothes, she took me by the hand and led me down some stairs from the roof. The roof suddenly turned into a flat, modern day roof while at first it was slightly slooping and covred with either tiles or some dark stones. We got down this modernday metal stairchase to a street outside her taverna. (She doesn't have a taverna in real life). We were standing in a pound of blood, and she said someone had cut himself on a knife in the kitchen of the taverna, but I just knew the blood came from the massacre. What do you think? I was wondering if this was a past life memory, because it's so different from "normal dreams".IP: Logged |

Stella, I just got an email letting me know that you sent me a reply on my topic. I dont get to see any of these until almost 24hrs later. Darn it !! If you would like to email me my address is sisterchasingmoon@webtv.net As for your dream.....I dont know much about it but I have been often curious why it is that we wake ourselves up from disturbing dreams only to pick up where we left off? Your thought on a past life is interesting! Love & Light, MelissaIP: Logged |

It is very different, isn't it? The first impression I got was a past life memory of some kind. I'm just wondering about the last part where your friend comes to help you. I'm going to think about that a little bit.

Past life or my mind playing trick on me? Because a past life situation like that would fit well in with what I theoretically think happened to me in former lives...The other day I was reading Proxiemes experience when she was hypnotized to a former life, where she was a man, and how she could feel the male body...Now in this dream I actually felt like I had the body and feet of a tiny fifteen years old girl...But when I'm able to tell myself that I'm dreaming and actually waking myself up, not only once, but several times, and, because that doesn't take me away from the scary situation, actually manage to get help from my friend, couldn't I also have created the whole dream out from a wish of learning what my past life was like? What do you think?IP: Logged |

Hey, Stella!I like your dream. Could it be you were in a kind of conflict, with you, innocent and young at one side, and some mighty, but dark emotions from the other (or, more correctly, a situation that your emotions led you to)? This conflict could be mentally, I believe, more that real, it's in your mind. Now, your present situation could be a result of solving this conflict (blood on taverna's floor), you MUST be SOLVING it right now, actually. Maybe you shouldn't be afraid, everything is under control, i.e. in the hands of your Higher Self. What do you think? IP: Logged |

Hei kusine! Stella, I don't quite know what to make out of your dream, I read it a couple of days ago and have been pondering. Just some loose ideas, spinning in Dreamflake's interpretation here (because I agree):Knowing that you are dreaming, waking up and falling right back into the same dream can happen especially if it is a very engaging dream, a theme that is taking a lot of energy, so to speak. I have a feeling you want to confirm this was a past life regression. I don't know much about that. Even if a past life is the theme here... could the dream have a double meaning? It seems like what you think of as your past identity is threatened to be eliminated? Are you "growing up"; leaving a stage in your life and being a bit scared about "loosing yourself"? You live far from the place you grew up; could it be that your childhood/teens seem kind of exotic and remote to the person you are growing into now? Your friend V. might be a side of yourself helping you in the transition. V has a taverna in the dream. A taverna being a place for nourishment and good company. Meaning you will find those qualities in your new life/identity. The blood in the taverna; you still haven't lost all of yourself, you still have the memories if not the life you used to. The fact that V has a different explanation than you about the blood is just two different ways of looking at the same happening; for the "old you" it is more dramatic, scary and painful than for the new you. Hope this is to some help?

Dear Dreamflake and dear cousin, thanks for your inputs. I actually don't know what to make of this dream either, but you two definatly did give me something to think about! That night I had several dreams, they were somehow connected, but this is the part that puzzled me, mostly because of the lucid part. I agree that when the dream doesn't stop when you wake up it's because the message is important, you just have to get it. And even if I "escaped" the dream I still had to face the blood...I think it would be exciting if this was a past life memory...but I know how I can create the dreams I want/need so I think maybe not... I've been following your discussion at UC about past lives, and I also believe that you get to remember what you need to remember. But after reading Cayce I'm very concerned about the "you shall reap as you sow"... As Evergreen know, I have plenty of health problems in my neck...following the Cayce-cases I'm deprived of breath in this life because in a former life (my last) I deprived someone else of their breath (cut the throat)..and that maybe I did because in the life before that someone cut my throath...See? I'm really obseessed about finding out about former lives because I think it would help me to understand my karma in this life... I had the dream when I was away this weekend, and when I came home I found a mail sent that night that said I'd receive distant healing (something I had asked for). So maybe the healing also relieved something in me that caused the dream? Sisterchasingmoon, sorry I haven't had time to email you. How come you can't get the messages before? I thought it was only me who had a stoneage internet connection... Evergreen, what do you think about the lexigram Hopeful did on my name? You know me... IP: Logged |

Stella, I read the lexigram and was impressed. I don't know how they are made or how it works, but it was beautiful. Of course it suits you! Knowing your life I wouldn't say you're an angel, but the help and support you give to all in your life, and your ability to listen, analyse, see the unseen and help... yes, you are a beautiful soul and I'm glad to know you. I didn't understand the part with the tines at the gate, though. I guess you do, and that's what counts.IP: Logged |

Regarding your dream: It was in the back of my head, I was looking at a picture of my brother, who practices martial arts, and something "popped" into my head, something I read in a book I later gave him:"Sometimes, when you try too hard to see, try to soften your focus, and the image will become clearer. Maybe you try too hard? Can you try another approach? Instead of WHAT, ask WHY, instead of looking for an answer, look for the question. Instead of looking inside, look outward, climb the mountain instead of digging deeper, instead of looking, try NOT looking, for if it is important enough, you bet it will try to get your attention again with a clearer message!! Good luck!

Dear Stella Polaris,I just wanted to say that I feel you should never be afraid of your pastlives. They can be like apparitions that haunt you sometimes but this is only because of ignorance,so when you begin to understand things, you no longer fear them. I think that karma is something that is misunderstood also. Yes you reap what you sow,but one lifetime of violence does not cancel out many lifetimes of giving love. You can choose to pay for karma when you are ready to do so and I don't believe you re-balance Karma until you understand it. So please don't worry you will understand it and when you do you will be ready to face it and overcome. Love conquers all.IP: Logged |
