I have a friend named Lonewolf, he is a great guy, I miss him very much. He recently sent me an email asking me about a dream he had. I am a novice at dream interpretation. So I asked him and he said it would be okay if I asked all of you to take a look and see what you think. If you are a novice, amatuer, or pro at this, feel free to comment. I'll tell you what I think later too. Thanks all

Love,
Carlo

Ruminating on a dream...

I am not sure what this dream was all about but I want to share it with you. I don’t know if it is a wish or has some hidden meaning. I am just excited that it was not about sex. Tell me what you think of this...

A war was raging between two tribes in the Arab lands. Salaam Salami his alter ego Mustafa Borscht were involved in a deadlocked battle. The only real advantage was that Salaam Salami had a sword of extraordinary power. All he needed do was place his hand on the hilt and he would become invisible. Salaam Salami used the sword to sneak behind enemy lines and disable Mustafa Borscht’s weapons of destruction. This did slow down the war and decreased the deaths. Salaam Salami was pleased with his efforts and believed one day Borscht would just go away.

One day while behind Borscht’s lines, Salaam Salami, while invisible, bumped into one of Borscht’s soldiers. He fell and his hand came off of the hilt of the sword. The soldier saw him and immediately shot him. He took the sword to Borscht. Borscht was delighted. His foe was dead and he had the magic sword. It was so clear to him what he must now do. Defeat his enemies Army before they could appoint a new leader and mount a new offensive. So, Borscht used the sword to sneak behind enemy lines and kill as many people as he could.

An on-looker named Lonewolf had been watching everything that went on and felt that it would not be long before Borscht became discontented with decimating Salaam Salami’s Army and would come after Lonewolf. Lonewolf knew what he had to do. He followed Borscht for a while and eventually found where he hid the magical sword. It did not even have a guard around it. Borscht was such a selfish person that he did not want anyone to know where it was. Lonewolf waited until borscht had left and he took the sword. Lonewolf wanted the sword so he could become invisible and not be subject to the wrath and tyranny of Borscht. Lonewolf gathered some friends and people together and explained his idea of escaping the urban areas and going into the deepest mountains he could find. He would start an agrarian Pagan society apart from the rest of the war-torn world. He told his friends about magical sword and it’s potentials for good and evil and their responsibility to safeguard it and use it for only good. His friends agreed that it was all of their responsibility and said they would help. And they set off for the mountains.

Lonewolf and his friends busily started about the task of erecting a shelter in the mountains and preparing the land for the short growing season. They knew it would not be long before Borscht started to look for his sword. They also knew he would be ruthless in his quest. It was decided by the group that they would go to the city and get the wife and children of Borscht and bring them back to their mountain encampment. Then they would begin to bargain with Borscht for him to stop the killing to get his family back. They knew it was risky, but worth the risk if they could succeed. Lonewolf went to the city. He took the sword and carefully remained invisible. When he got to Borscht’s home, his family was home. He was not. They were surprisingly eager to accompany Lonewolf. One of the wonderful aspects of this sword was that if anyone touched the person holding the hilt of the sword they too would be invisible. Borscht’s family all kept in physical contact with Lonewolf and walked undetected out of the city. When they arrived at the encampment Borscht’s family listened intently. They said they did not feel they were hostages, and believed Borscht had lost his mind. Borscht’s wife asked to be brought to a phone to talk with her husband. She was accommodated.

Lonewolf, hand on the hilt of the sword took her off to the city again with the city. They found a phone booth and Lonewolf hid in the bushes while she made her call. She talked for what seemed to be a long time and soon Lonewolf saw soldiers. They approached Mrs. Borscht and put handcuffs on her and led her away. She was thrown in jail to be reeducated. Fortunately Lonewolf was able to sneak in to the jail and help Mrs. Borscht make her escape. They returned to their mountain encampment knowing that this was far from over.

Borscht decided that he would use a different tactic with this group of Pagans. He wanted to expose them as phonies, fakes not worthy of the following that was starting. Their cause had become well-known and had started to develop a lot of support.

Borscht knew that an attack in his own country on such a group would only weaken support for himself. His plan was simple. He snuck near their camp and set up a video camera to show the world how fake this group was. He knew the group had little food and that hunger was a problem. He would send a deer into their circle near the fire and tape them killing and cooking the animal. He knew it would appear to be savage given that they only had small knives and sticks. He secretly hoped they would use the magical sword and he could recover it and dominate the world.

He watched and filmed as the deer walked into the circle. The Pagans swarmed around the deer. There were many of them. Borscht was delighted. It appeared his plan was going to be a success. He envisioned hindquarters and other parts of the deer being carried away and all captured on film.

Before long, the Pagans began to back away from the deer. Borscht was beside himself. There before his eyes was a deer - ribbons and bows on his antlers, a wreath around his neck and, very much alive.

Now he knew he had to take matters into his own hands. He walked straight into the circle and stood nose to nose with Lonewolf. Borscht pulled out a gun and said, “I am going to kill you”.

Lonewolf responded before he knew it. “O.k.” is all he said. “I can’t stop you, do as you will”.

Borscht stood in amazement and before he knew it Lonewolf took the gun from him. Borscht was amazed. He asked “are you going to kill me now?”

Lonewolf told him “No, let us go eat and talk”.

They talked and Borscht did not get it. He did not understand why, but it felt good. He felt relaxed. Lonewolf offered to destroy the sword with him so it could never be used for evil. Borscht did not like the idea and offered to put it in a safe place. But Lonewolf knew that the temptation would be too much for someone like Borscht.

Lonewolf kept the sword and had it melted down and made into a pentacle for his altar. Borscht went back to the city vowing to change and stop the killing. Lonewolf and his friends stayed in the mountains. Some risks are not worth taking.

I don't know what it means but that is an interesting dream!

I feel that he is bothered by the war and also has recently made an important decision that he has not realized the depth of how important/positive it is.

I also think that to come up with names like salami and borscht maybe he was hungry
