What about the landscapes and cities of our dreams? I use to dream in great detail about landscapes and cities, I sometimes wonder if these places exist, and that I've visited them on astral travels...But of course, they also fit with the dream. For instance, I'd be in "Paris" in Avenue Sebastopol - which is a word-game of the Greek word "sebasmos" - respect. Or in Rue (road) de Bac - which is simply going bac(k).
Some places I dream about again and again. A city of Napoli (Naples) which is not Napoli, an old town on a hilltop - where? A yellow wood house in a hill that slopes towards a lake, probably in northern Italy or Switzerland...
I also frequently dream about Norwegian forests with snow..

Well, a city usually has something to do with how you are making progress in some life situation, or even some internal aspect of self - but the meaning is dependant upon the context and appearance of the city in the dream.Landscapes can have a great deal of various meanings, generally giving indications of our outlooks or perspectives on situations, or perhaps mirroring transitions in our psychological processes. Almost all of my dreams take place outside, and that is the only consistant variable in mine that I can think of!  IP: Logged |

i once dreamt about visiting a city.
this 'city' in the dream's context referred to no particular place but 'myself'.  IP: Logged | |
