Yep..that's right..I had a dream that I was pregnant, somewhere around my 6th or 7th month (in real life, one of my coworkers is in her 7th month)..that I was carrying it low and small, but simply wasn't hungry. I remember wondering if the baby was still alive, put my hand on my stomach and felt a kick. It finally dawned on me that I really was pregnant and it was too late to not be prgnant and I cried to my mother about it...about how I was becoming attached to it, but that I really truly did not want a baby yet. I think in the end of the dream, I ended up undergoing a procedure where I didn;t have the baby.

Now mind you, there's no chance of me being pregnant now (it would have to be an immaculate conception otherwise LOL), and I've never been pregnant.

Does anyone have any insights into this?

Having a baby is just one of the many ways to make oneself immortal, to create something, commit and/or expand oneself.

Not being hungry; not being hungry for what? for life? For work? Your private life? Are you ok?

Could be there is a commitment/something in your job situation or your private life you don't feel is right for you. Is there a project or some process you have initiated/are part of, without quite knowing all the consequences, and now seeing a consequence/commitment you don't feel up to?

Dreaming of being pregnant and not wanting the baby might mean you want/need to ponder how you're mothering yourself?

You could also take a closer look at:
How did your mother respond in the dream?
How did you feel about having the procedure where you didn't have the baby (does that mean you did give birth to it but gave it up for adoption, or did you "just" have an abortion?)

Did you feel a loss or a relief after the procedure/upon waking up?

Hope this helps, and that you are ok!

Thanks so much, Evergreen!

Yes, I feel I've accepted somethign new in my life that I'm not sure I can handle.

And yes, I felt shock, sadness and relief upon waking up and realizing there wasn't a baby anymore.

"Ok" is such a relative term , isn't it? But thank you, your concern means a lot. And so does the time and effort you put into looking at my dreams.

Thanks again!!

My thoughts are very similar to Evergreen's.

There is something in your life - a situation, idea, project, relationship, etc. - that has developed to a fair degree, but which you do not really want or are not ready for, or are not ready for it's completion.

As an example - are you in school? Are you nearing it's completion? Or is there some relationship which has been brewing and is now coming to a head?

These sorts of situations can induce a stress that would produce this sort of dream.

No, I'm done with school. But did start a new job this week.

I did have a dream last night that one of my friend made me give her a piccy-back ride. And she's not a thin girl. And we were in a little wooden restaurant and got two cups f wter each, and it was free. Very strange. I went to bed in a bad mood, so maybe that's why I woke up on my own and was able to remember that. lol

Anyway, thanks you two!
