Topic: Moms dream...she is really worried !

So my Mom calls me today, really worried about this dream and ask me to see what you guys think !
She says that she was at a funeral service, but it was her own.
She can see the casket,flowers and the picture stand with her picture.
She feels the presence of people at the service, but she never see's them.
Any thoughts to put her mind at ease?

Not much to go on here, but there is very little chance that this has to do with her actual, physical death.Something is coming to an end (not her life) and there will be a new beginning.  IP: Logged |

I know what you mean about not much to go by. I tried asking her different questions about her dream, hoping to get more info, but she said there was nothing more to it. Just saw what she saw and felt that people were there and that was it !Funny the one thing she did say about her dream.... the picture of herself is one that she just cant stand..LOL she was kinda bent out of shape that we would choose one she so dislikes over so many others. I laughed at her  Even in death Mommie Dearest will be Vain ------------------

I think what you said about the picture says a lot about the dream: She doesn't like the picture...This can indicate that it's a side of herself that she doesn't like that is buried. A funeral is very passive, as it's other people who actually bury the person. So maybe she feels that other people make her surpress or bury a side of herself that she doesn't like, or maybe she has problems burying this side of herself and wishes other people would take care of it.IP: Logged |
