Hello,I have a question that might help others as well as myself. The thing is, how can I help myself dream answers, for problems that I'm having in a more better sense? Do you know what I'm saying? Like if I'm having a specific problem that can't be answered in my routine life, then how can I recieve an answer in dreams? I know that shear desire will get you the answer, but is there a way to train yourself to have your dreams make more sense? Another thing, is it dangerous to have dreams in any way? IP: Logged |

Interesting questions there! Are dreams dangerous? Well I want to say no immediately but I can't really say. They may be in some way but I have to guess that the subconscious wouldn't let anything surface that we couldn't ultimately handle even though it may be unpleasant. ------------------ I like to watch you in your sleep ..I’d give a million if I knew your name ..And all I need is to be with you ..In a state of dreams ..That’s where I wanted to be ..With you in a state of dreams

I agree with Amber. And I have a suggestion or two about dreaming answers ... all I need is time to write them! Perhaps in the morning. IP: Logged |

Hi StarLover33, There are ways to find answers. It will take practice and time though. Here is a great breathing excercise. Best to do when there will be no distractions. relax and feel/hear your heart beating. Inhale through your nose for 4 heartbeats. Hold breath for 2 heartbeats. Exhale through mouth for 4 heartbeats. *note* everyones lung capacity and oxygen saturation levels are different so the lengths can be adjusted. Once you are able to maintain that breathing pattern concentrate on relaxation. Focus on the muscles relaxing throughout your entire body, even the tiny muscles around your face. Think to yourself "I am relaxing" "I am relaxed" slowly count backwards from 7 to 1 knowing at 1 you will be completely relaxed. at that point you will be in the "Alpha" level. It is in the Alpha level where you can plant seeds, change your life , change the world around you. Tell yourself in that state "tonight while I sleep I will find the answer to (subject). I will awake with this knowledge." Then count back up to 7 feeling yourself returning....returning....returning awake. I hope this helps, writing is not one of my strengths so if you don't understand something ask me to ellaborate. My father taught me this form of meditation when I was very young. This will take time and practice StarLover, just work on the breathing first pace yourself. Oh and Nothing can hurt you in your dreams, even if you Astral project fear nothing you are safe.Exit The Universe Doesn't always give us what we Want. But It Always gives us what we Need. Wow, sounds like a great method, and it seems easy to follow. Thank you, I'm going to try it out tonight.IP: Logged |

Starlover~ Here is something that you might try....Begin on the first night of the full moon, before going to sleep lite an Indigo candle (somewhere safe in your room) do this for the next two nites. Think about whatever it is that you need the answer to while falling off to sleep. Remember this will only work if you believe ! Good luck and let me know how it goes ------------------ Love & Light, Melissa IP: Logged |

Wow, these are some great suggestions! I have used Exit's method for initiating OBEs, and it is a great way to relax and get your mind into that suggestable state. The method I have is easy, and I will try to keep the instructions brief and simple. Write down the question you want answered. "Why" questions are not the best to ask, as the answers can be rather enigmatic and ultimately complicated. Write down all of the important factors involved, such as the who, where, and whens of the situation. While lying in bed, before you go to sleep, read what you have written and repeat the question to yourself. In your mind, go over every detail that you can think of that pertains to the question. Think about all of the possible conditions, circumstances, outcomes, people involved, decisions, etc. Try out every possible scenario in your mind, as detailed as possible. Repeat the question in your mind again, and again and again. Tell yourself you will dream about it. When you awaken, write down what you remember, even if only fragments. Do not worry if the dream you had does not seem relevant to the question, it may not be, or it could be a veiled answer. Think about your dreaming throughout the day - perhaps you will make a connection. Repeat the process, writting down anything new you can that may be relevant to the situation/question and review your notes. Continue doing this until you get your answer - and you WILL get it! Different people respond differently to this, some may get an answer immediately while with others it may take several days or so. Some researchers think that there is a sort of maturation period invovled and that the dream answer will likely appear from three to seven days after the question is posed, but who knows? It is important to not ignore what you are dreaming in the days that follow. You must be honest enough with yourself to accept an answer you may not want. And it is important to record what you remember from your dreaming as well, and to think about it periodically throughout the day. Good luck! You will not need it. Dream in Peace IP: Logged |
