finally fell asleep...

was at a university of some kind. It seemed spiritually based and there were lots of old men there. Not old and weak but more like old, with white beards and very wise and learned. I was walking through the library which was HUGE with books to the ceiling. I was with two female friends... one who was a bit chubby and one that was thin. We were talking about school and classes, etc.

One man stopped us and we were surprised because he was greatly respected in the school and usually didn't talk to the students... so we were a bit awestruck by him. He had a long white beard and wore these greyish robes.

He was most interested in my chubby friend and he began talking to her. He told her she was chosen. It had something to do with a Messiah and the second coming. He asked my friend's name and she said it was Mary and the old man said "How very appropriate."

So the three of us were sent on some sort of journey. We had to travel to this town. ...Not sure if it was Bethlehem now... I'm not that familiar with Bible info and I've forgotten some of the dream.

Everything around us kept changing from modern times to 2000 years ago. We were leaving the school and there was a lot of activity in the yard... men on horses going about their business, etc. I decided I had to go back to our dorm room because I forgot to take care of the cats!

So I went back and at this point I don't know what happened to my friends but it was just me now.. but I wasn't concerned that they were missing or anything and I knew I still had to go on this journey.

Went back to the dorm room and was surprised because it was all burned. People that didn't like me destroyed everything. There was rotting meat in there, too, and everything was blackened. I was very upset, wondering where my cat was. But then! There comes my cat through the rubble. It was a black cat with white circles around its eyes.

I put it in the carrying case and looked for my other two cats. The other two cats were right outside... an orange one and a white one (the white one my old cat Sam that is in a lot of my dreams). I put them all in the carrying case.

Next thing I know I'm in a car. The cats were in the back with three little boys (Hunter being one of them). The little boys were acting up. It was at night and it started raining and I was rushing to get to this town I was supposed to go to. The windshield got foggy and I had to pull over to figure out how to use the defogger. The brakes didn't work that well. When I stopped one of the boys opened the door in the back and the cats got out and I had to catch them all again. It was very frustrating. When I'd look for one, one of the boys would let out one that I'd caught already. And the two slightly younger boys kept getting out and wandering around the road. So I was yelling at them to get back in, yelling at the older one to stop letting out the cats, AND try to get all the cats in again.

At the end of the dream I had JUST succeeded in getting everyone and all the cats back in and I was starting to drive again.

Again with the cats! They are appearing alot lately. Because they keep showing up, I feel like they are not being heard/understood correctly. What could they mean?

Amber, how do you feel about cats? What do you associate with them? Do you have any ideas as to what they could represent?

This is Sam:

He's been in most of my cat dreams. In this dream he was the white cat. Loved that cat. He literally had 9 lives... he used to jump out the window and we lived on the 5th floor. 3 times he did that. Nutty cat. He was awesome!

They way I am seeing it at the moment has to do with an organization of self. We begin in a setting which symbolizes knowledge, order (library), wisdom, guidance, and spirituality (wise old man). This relates to the Higher Self. In this place, you are three (you and two friends), perhaps representing the trinity of self. And this theme of three appears three times ... three women, three cats, three boys.

The general theme in my mind - at the moment - is that you realize something of who you are, the Higher you, the bigger you, the spiritual you - you feel the connection with this greater aspect of Self at times, but perhaps there is something in your past (present past or past-life past?) that has made this journey somewhat difficult for you. This could be something from your childhood, or perhaps a reference to birth amnesia - I do not know. Either way, your "vision" is impaired (foggy windshield) and there are distractions which make it difficult to put things back in order (cats/kids). But in the end, you do it!

So how does this relate to you now?

Is there some aspect of your life which is out of order?

Are you having difficulty seeing what lies ahead?

Do you feel as if your current situation is difficult to stop?

Are you frustrated on some level?

The dream says - do not worry, there is a definate purpose behind your life situation, even if you do not remember what it is. You will succeed in putting things back in order and your journey will continue!

I've had a few "mary" type dreams lately. Yesterday I was kidnapped by a groupd of Mexican women because they wanted Hunter... and I ended up yelling at God.. who was actually two very white pasty pale men in white labcoat-like suits and dark sunglasses. I told God he was sick and twisted and the way he played with people was really stupid. And then he told me I was going to get pregnant with a little girl to replace Hunter because Hunter was meant for more important things than me.

grrr I was upset the whole dream

You seem to make all these things make so much more sense!!

Is there some aspect of your life which is out of order? Hrmm.. I guess the financial aspect. But isn't that out of order with just about everyone? hehe. I am starting to get myself together, I think.

Are you having difficulty seeing what lies ahead? sure... but it is looking better than it did a year ago

Are you frustrated on some level? lol always... about lots of things But it's really nice to hear that you see in my dream that I'll make it eventually. That really cheered me up today!!
