The STRANGEST thing happened last night. I dreamt about being asleep in my bed, my dad came to me and was shaking me to wake up..he was covered in vomit and was saying my name to help him...I got up and walked in their living room where they were sleeping, my mother was trying to clean it up but couldn't wring the cloths out because of her hands and she was crying.... My best friend Kevin im'd me a bit ago and told me about the strangest dream he had last night...that an old man was in his bed and he had urinated in Kevin's bed...he then vomited in the bed...and Kevin's parents were sleeping in their living room because of this man being in Kevin's bed... I called my parents this morning and guess what? They slept in their living room last night...but they said they had an ok night... Ok...I want to know what you all think of this oddity?? I just don't believe in coincedence anymore...I do believe there is something to this though, and Kevin and I both want your opinions... Thanks.. IP: Logged |

That IS odd!Amanda, is your mother having a hard time "handling" your father's illness? Kevin, do you believe your dream is related to Amanda's, or a reflection of something in your life? To me, it could be that the two of you share some situation in common which is represented in the dreams. Or, it could be a kind of empathic/sympathetic reaction to the other's situation. Or it could be the result of two invividual situations that each of you have shared with the other which has elicited the same personal vibration/associations, thereby creating a kind of resonant connection between you. ....... ummm, did that make any sense? Anyway, what do the two of you think? That is very important. IP: Logged |

Yes, my mother is having a very difficult time dealing with all of this...she has lymphoma cancer herself, and suffers terribly from rhemutoid arthritis...so, her hands are kinda gnarled, she cannot open soda's, squeeze a mop..that kind of thing...and she is somewhat in denial about this...I mean, she sees this going on every day, but like the rest of us, we hope for him to fully recover...I believe in miracles, but I feel his time is short and so does he.....it's been hard on all of us Ra...just so hard.As far as this dreaming, I have no clue...that is why I brought it here...I'm speechless about it.. That is something I understand far too well. I still miss my father dreadfully sometimes ... and it has been six years. IP: Logged |
