Topic: Another odd one

Hello it's me again.
What do you think of this? It's a little hazy in my memory but here's what I remember.
I dreamt that I had brain cancer and the doctor or specialist was telling me that there was a good chance that it was operable(or curable). He referred to the 3 tumors as three balloons with slight spreading outside of the balloons.(I think) Then at some other part of the dream (either before or after) I was with this guy that I am currently sort of seeing and I was pregnant (and it might or might not have been his child I remember it being a slight issue in my mind in the dream but I don't know why) and we were going to the hospital because I was in labor and he was leading me over, either an old rope bridge or an old wooden bridge or something; and as I have always disliked bridges I told him let's go the other way which turned out to be another bridge though it was much shorter, (six, seven feet) It seemed like it was made of bamboo or something maybe. Anyway, we got to the hospital which was the same hopital of my brain tumor and, here is where it gets tricky: the dream kept switching back and forth between me in labor and me already holding a baby BUT even when I already had the baby in my arms, the baby still had to be born and I was worried at those points because that would mean that he would have to go through the vaginal canal again and I was worried that he would be traumatized because he was already so big and especially because he would have to go through being brought into a place that was too bright for his eyes after being back in my body again and maybe even getting hurt during delivery. And at the points when I was in labor, I was scared and laying on a gurney(scared of the labor pains,(extra information,important?))
Do you understand, even though the baby was already in my arms, he still had to be born through my body?IP: Logged |

Hi silverbells!Something in your life, a change of some sort, is causing you some anxiety. This idea is repeated several times throughout the dream. 1) There is some complete (three) thought/idea/project (brain) which causes you concern (cancer) that must come out (operable). 2) There is some thought/idea/project that is ready to manifest (pregnant/labour) but you have anxiety concerning the change or transition (bridges) that goes along with it. 3) There is a thought/idea/situation that is developed/complete (baby) but that has not yet been actualized (still to be born). The actual manifestation or materialization (birth) of this thought/idea/situation causes you great concern. What is going on in your life that necessitates change - or what is ready to make a "public" appearance? On a more positive note, there are all indications that you will come through this change/manifestation/situation just fine. The cancer is operable/curable - this is good! You cross the bridge successfully - this is good! You are assisted in making it to the hospital, a healing place - this is good! It is all good! Worry not!  IP: Logged |

That interpretaion feels right and not only that but it makes sense! Thank yOu!!!!!Well, my career is of a public nature, I am the one who, quite literally, makes public appearances, which occupies most of my thoughts. But you know, I thought that it was significant that this guy that I am sort of dating was accompanying me to the hospital and leading me across the bridge, and basically tending to me on the way. Emotions and my career go hand and hand and as you may remember from my other dream posts, I have a problem with trusting people and relaxing enough to show them my really true self. What do you think this guy has to do with the dream?

Yes, silverbells. If you believe this to be significant, then it is. Perhaps this is an indication of your need to place your trust in someone, to allow someone to help you sometimes. Whether or not this guy is the one to place your trust in only you could say, but he certainly does seem to symbolize this energy at the least.  IP: Logged |

No, no ... thank YOU!One more thing, the reason you are not sure whether or not he is the father is that you are not sure if you are going to pursue this particular relationship. Do not worry, there IS someone out there for you ... and you will not have to go through mental gymnastics (or cross rickety bridges) to figure him out (or straighten him out!). IP: Logged |
