I just woke up from a dream and wanted to write it while its still fresh in my head: White thin worms poking out of my skin by my left thigh/hip area and sometimes it would be by the crease where my arm bends. After awhile I pull them out with tweezers and they are very long and at the end they are rainbow colored. I took them to someone who would know what they were, and more popped up and I woke up.(Actually, the phone woke me) So any insights?IP: Logged |

Welcome, Vulcansmoon!My first thought is that there is something in waking life that is getting to you, "under your skin", so to speak. What is "bugging" you? Because these worms are in your arms and legs, it could be suggested that there is difficulty embracing (arm) a situation and perhaps your ability (leg) to emotionally/intuitively/receptively deal with it (left side = feminine attributes) has been affected or hampered. I am intrigued by the worms' rainbow-coloured ends. That seems to indicate something magical and glorious to me, yet the rest of their bodies and ends are thin and white. Would you say that the worms were working themselves _out_ of your dream body, or just bursting out? Is it possible that the worms connected with some kind of rainbow energy you have deep in yoursELF, so that despite the revulsion, you have learned something precious?Either way it seems to me that at the end of something feared, is a magical special thing. Have you been feeling more spiritual or intuitive lately? Doing some thought-stimulating reading ("threads", "strings") here on Lindaland?  Maybe had other strange dreams or experiences that left you feeling disturbed? Seems to me your dream showed that somewhere now in your life you have some new feelings/experiences that are disturbing to your solid, predictable self (body), even repugnant, and yet you also see that in a way there's a kind of beauty to them (rainbow) that makes you wonder if they really are as horrible as they seem at first glance. Just my speculations,
