Here's my recollection of bits of a dream that I had last night; I'd rather not write it out again, so here's eh transcription of an IM convo between me and scatbug and then me and N_w:

Corri Russell: Any sweet dreams, m'Love?
rmabug: none that i remember
rmabug: you?
Corri Russell: some odd ones, but I only remember bit and pieces
rmabug: like?
Corri Russell: I don't remember much. One bit, I was being careened (sp) while attached to something like a meathook through upper human torsos on one side and lower human torsos on the other, all hung many feet up but stationary.
Corri Russell: The next bit, I was being cut up.
Corri Russell: I was cut up in the same manner as those (w/ the cut being ragged and uneven), but could still feel both sides.
Corri Russell: each side was then placed so that a large car could run over the ragged end of each piece in order to make it more even
Corri Russell: I remember thinking that it didn't matter, because it happened to many people, and that you wouldn't mind any way that I was
Corri Russell: I don't remember why that was.
Corri Russell: I mean, why it was being done.
rmabug: i see
Corri Russell: probably why I couldn't get back to sleep after I woke up
rmabug: yeah...
Corri Russell: I remember thinking that the car part wouldn't be so bad, b/c it would only last for a second, and - besides - I would be even afterwards
rmabug: brb
Corri Russell: (that is, cut evenly)
...
rmabug: so anything else happen in that dream?
rmabug: gah some one is at teh door... brb
Corri Russell: Not really, not that I can remember. Oh, wait - I remember that one guy got out of getting his halves evened out by giving into whatever it was those who were doing it wanted. He was cut in half (but only alive at the expected, upper portion), and he said, "Well, I still have my feet," and I looked down to see one mangled and useless foot attached at the end of a nub of a leg.

----

N_w: how vivid was it?
Corri Russell: Quite. I could feel everything.
N_w: if you can, post it in astral realms

Hello proxieme

It is suggested that some situation in your life has you feeling as if you have no control over current or upcoming events (careened/meathook/stationary/car running over your halves). You feel separation or conflict (cut up/cut in half) within self. You are only partly aware of your feelings because of some sort of incompletion or unresolved situation. There is a division between what you think and feel (upper torso) and what you need on a material/physical level (lower torso).

It seems that whatever your situation is, you realize that it is perhaps only temporary (being run over would only last for a second) and you are willing to 'suffer' briefly because you believe that in the end all will work out ("I will be even afterwards") for the best. You see the present circumstance as necessary for future betterment.

Perhaps by "giving in" and not enduring the necessary "evening out", either you or another (symbolized by the guy who avoids) could end up 'crippled' and unable to properly walk through life as it would have been otherwise.

What do you think?
