Hi Amber!I have not really examined this dream closely, yet ... but I did give it to a dear friend of mine for his opinions. I see the same darkness I have always perceived, that energy that seems to always be lurking about you, as I have mentioned many times before. This time, I wanted someone else's thoughts, and I have recently been brought back into contact with a very interesting, close friend of mine who, well, seems to know things ... so I asked him. I told him nothing about you, I simply gave him the dream to read. What he said was far too personal for me to write here, so I will be e-mailing you with his feelings - I will try to do that tomorrow. IP: Logged |

I am now looking more closely at this dream myself, trying to avoid colouring my interpretation with my friend's thoughts ... but I must say, so far there are many similarities (of course my language is different than his).... it seems such a dark dream IP: Logged |

I will not go into each and every symbol, that would take far too long, and would be redundant. This dream is about the darker, hidden aspects of self, aspects that have been staunchly protected by your subconscious mind from discovery (dark castle). All things in this dream are dark and negative, and the symbology is repetitive and replete with indications of some negative experience, probably from childhood (dead/bloody bodies, frozen/terrible expressions, little rooms/doors everywhere, rape, etc, etc, etc) The dream could reflect this experience and the covering-up by family or friends that ensued. I would say that you were lied to, psychologically manipulated, and taken advantage of, as indicated by the actions/words of your uncle in the dream - a terrible experience was made to seem "special". Everyone appears as vampires because this experience robbed you of precious life and innocence when you were most vulnerable. Even those in the dream who were "protecting" you appeared as vampires, further suggesting the manipulation. And then there are all of the people in masks, suggesting covered up energies, and again that things were not what they seemed. These are just some of the symbols suggested by this dream - there are many others, all saying the same thing. What I have said is very general compared to my friend's thoughts, but the theme is pretty much the same, and worth consideration. To me, it seems that perhaps there was more to your childhood than you are currently remembering, perhaps events in very early childhood. It is indicated by your dreams that you are only beginning to explore these "dark rooms full of dead bodies", and there is much internal confusion, at least on a subconscious level, being brought about by this. I hope I am completely wrong. IP: Logged |
