Vin and I were seperated and I was seeing someone else (who, btw, was a vampire). We were on a subway train in NY. Me, my vampire, and a few of his vampire friends. Vin showed up knowing we'd be there. I wanted to avoid trouble at all cost so I was trying to calm Vincent down but Vin had a gun and planned on killing my vampire guy with special bullets. My vampire guy wasn't overly concerned about it, though. He was sort of laughing it off. The doors to the train ended up opening at the right moment and the vampires and I stepped out and ran downstairs to catch the 4,5 or 6 trains. My vempire told me to get down there first and grab any train to get away from Vincent because I was, afterall, still human and the most vulnerable. So that's what I did.

Then the dream changed a little and I was seeing everything from my vampire's eyes instead of my own. He watched the train with me leave but he decided he'd go pick me up later at my apartment. He jumped down onto the train tracks with his friends and they walked into the dark tunnel and away from the platform. Another train came and he was more of a daredevil than the other vampires. They all sort of looked up to him. They stood off to the side to avoid the train but he laid in the middle of the tracks to watch the train go over. They were all really impressed afterward. So there along the tunnel there was a secret door which was where they were going. Inside there were huge rooms with high ceilings. The walls and floors were various shades of grey and black... like an old castle or fortress... all made out of stone. There were dozens of other vampires there for a meeting of some kind.

There was one vampire there who was older, he was bald and wearing this odd warrior's outfit like something from Lord of the Rings. He had called the meeting and was getting ready to speak to the group. He was happy to see my vampire guy (I'm still seeingeverything from his eyes and seeing what he's seeing) because he was so well known and talented among the vampires. he sat down against the wall next to some other vampires. he pulled a locket out of his pocket and was staring at it. It was round.. not sure what was in it because he didn't open it but there were strands of red red hair on the top acting in the place of a chain. (that red hair was *my* red hair - not the vampire but the one that left on the train that the vampire was in love with). He was playing with the red hair and thinking of, well, Amber/me!

the meeting started and he was trying to pay attention but he didn't feel very good all of a sudden. Something came up his throat from his stomach and was in his mouth. If felt like very sticky bubble gum. He started digging it out of his mouth and off his fangs. He got most of it out but more kept coming up and it was difficult to breathe. He fell over onto the floor and the main vampire dude came over and was concerned. My vampire knew, somehow, that the bubble gum stuff was something Vincent had injected into him somehow to kill him.

But they caught it in time. The lead vampire guy took more gum out of myvampire’s mouth and inspected him like a doctor. He said my vampire would be fine although he would be in quite a bit of pain for a few hours. My vampire just clutched the locket and comforted himself with thoughts of being very very in love.

Amber, that is a very interesting dream.

As usual, this will require some thought and analysis. You certainly are never boring! Nor do you seem to fit any particular mold or system of thought ... but I guess you know that!

Thank you for sharing this dream, I look forward to working on it.

Have you and Vin had a rough spot lately?

Has your alternative style and/or views been a sore point for Vin?

Does your alternativeness make the two of you feel a bit distant at times, a bit separate?

The dream, at least the first paragraph, suggests that Vin feels anger towards, or threatened by, an aspect of you, symbolized by the vampire, which I am loosely interpreting as "alternative". But there are certainly other possibilities here.

Then you say "the dream changed a little" ... that is an understatement! How often do we shift our perception into another dream personage? Not very often. Symbolically, this shift could indicate that you are seeking secret information, insight into the workings or doings of another person or aspect of self.

Beyond this, my thoughts are very mixed. It is difficult for me to hold a "traditional" viewpoint with these types of dreams of yours ... and I am not yet convinced that the "traditional" approach is even applicable. I am reminded of the dream I had of you long ago where, in the dream, I was not able to rely upon my books with a dream you wanted me to help you with.

Anyway, I have asked the universe to send us some help! I think I need an objective opinion on these dreams - I fear that my thoughts about your dreams (especially the vampire and Marian ones) have become clouded with preconceptions.

Universe, Help!

Of course, I will still be giving them PLENTY of thought! ... and I will come back to this one just as soon as I can make some sense of it.

hrmm we had a rough spot about a year ago when I joined LindaLand. Things are much smoother now. Well I'd say he's just as 'alternative' as I am in most areas but the sore spot with him is when I run off to see concerts which I don't even do that often. We've gone through major control issues which aren't fully resolved.

I have to run off to an interview!! I'll add more when I get back.

back!

So let's see... I remember the dream about throwing out the book Would something like that even be in the book to begin with? I have a couple good dream books I use sometimes but can't seem to find something like that. I guess I could be changing perspectives on something but I don't know!! It wasn't like it was just ME in another body. When I changed into seeing everything from his point of view my emotions and thoughts changed a great deal, too. It was more than just changing bodies.

I'll ask the Universe for help, too

Okay, so out with the "books"! You are right, in these types of dreams of yours there is little help from any dream dictionary, but this happens sometimes with everyone because dream symbols can be very individual and personal. Even so, most dreams can still be pieced together in a more or less "traditional" manner, which is what I mean by "books". Asking questions about what such-and-such means to a person usually clarifies much.

But in this case, in your case, "traditional" methods and symbols are simply not working for me. I do not know if it is because there is something I am missing, or if my ideas are coloured by preconceived notions, or if there is something else at work here ... or if my true thoughts are indeed correct. I have not really gone into what I really think, and I will not do so until I get something more concrete to work with, and more understanding along with it.

So, until then, we will just have to suffer through it! (I suffer happily in this! )

And I by no means want you to slow or stop your postings of the dreams ... eventually light will be shown upon them!

Oh, and I did not mean that you could be changing perspectives on something, I meant that you are seeking information that you cannot get from your perspective, information that can only be gotten by knowing what someone else (or a hidden aspect of self) is doing/thinking.

But even this is not what I really feel, it is only what "traditional" thought might dictate. So ... do you think that someone else may want you to know something about them, and that this could be an effort in that direction? I now that sounds rather cryptic and vague, but it is all I can offer at the moment.

no email I can't seem to send anything to you, either. My email program won't let me and when I try to send from webbased email it bounces back. Very strange because I've gotten emails from other people today and have sent emails to others as well!

Hopefully tomorrow it can be cleared up because I have some things to email you

Found my notes ... I was right, there is not much. A little at a time I suppose.

So things are well between you and Vincent. Separation can also indicate change in your life ... perhaps that is the meaning. But what sort of change? And why would Vincent be used in this symbology?

Well, there are multiple symbols throughout the dream which lean heavily towards unconscious energies at work - vampires, subway, dark tunnel, secret room, castle/fortress-like, shades of grey and black ...

Perhaps for you, vampires symbolize unconscious activity... hmmm. They are animate entities that operate in darkness, as opposed to a symbol such as a basement, or dark tunnel, which is inanimate and suggests unconscious material.

Forgive me for kind of thinking out loud there ... now I need to go back and review a few things from previous dreams.

So much for having any answers in this post! I think I just raised more questions for myself!

You know, I have been carrying this dream around for a month now, taking a look at it every couple of days, and it still makes me cross-eyed! I have notes scribbled all over it, but nothing is making much sense to me ... nothing feels right. I seem to have some sort of mental block with this dream!

It's okay, Ra. Don't stress yourself over it. It is a really odd dream. I don't really know what to make of it, either. Maybe it's not meant to be cracked and it's just my subconscious trying to drive me fruity.

I don't know!! Maybe.. I DUNNO! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
