Hi Everyone,

Yay! I remembered a dream from last night. The first one in a many months. (I'm excited, can't you tell?)

I was in the back seat of a car looking out the window at a man-made ravine. The water was a muddy brown. My mother went in and swam across. "Boo" (friend) jump in and sank beneath the surface.

I didn't see him surface for several minutes

I got worried, and dove right into the ravine. Even while knowing I didn't know how to swim! Everything was dark, and I couldn't see anything. I stretched out my arms underneath and felt his shoulders. I pulled him by the arms and swam to the surface. He was able to get out and back onto land. I was surprised that he wasn't scared and was just fine. I got out of the ravine as well.

A.

Hello Aphrodite!

Who was driving the car?

Have you been helping "boo" through some emotional murkiness?

Greetings Ra,

I don't know who was driving the car. I think it was empty and I was the only one in it sitting in the back.

Yes, I have been helping Boo through emotional murkiness.

Love,

Aphrodite

Helping "Boo" seems to be the gist of the dream. Muddy water very often symbolizes difficult, "murky" emotional energies. Your mother could symbolize the nurturing energy that you have given in this situation, or it could be that she has experienced this same sort of emotional murkiness herself. If the latter, then perhaps you helped her through it, or her experience could offer some parallel insights.

Hello Ra,

There are difficult emotional energies. I am trying my best to be as loving and nuturing as possible.

I doubt my mother has ever experienced these feelings.

Love,

Aphrodite
