Fell asleep last night, very, very tired. Had worked a long stretch of midnight shift. Started to dream and I was driving a car(not one I reconized) at night. I remembered feeling happy. Then the windshield became black, like it was covered with black snow. I went to turn on the windshield wipers, a thought went through my mind that doing this would not help. I then felt a panic-like fear and a "chill" in my chest. Something was very wrong. I said to myself "this is only a dream, wake yourself up ". And I actually slowly woke up. Waking myself up during a dream that I felt fear in has happened to me before, but it has been a long time. Spent the rest of the night dreaming about being at, or moving to the beach. The dream suggests that although you are traveling a path which is somewhat unknown to you (do not recognize car, night), you are presently happy. But then something happens and you find that you cannot see. You feel trapped and in danger. What is going on? This "black snow" on the windshield almost certainly represents a sudden lack of awareness, possibly due to some sort of unconscious material with which you will be presented along this path. I cannot be sure what form this material will take - it could be buried memory/experience, repressed emotion, or some other "unknown" which causes a fear/panic reaction ... perhaps some situation which causes you to feel trapped. But, as in the dream, you will only experience what you can handle - you will be able to pull back and regain control. Do you need a vacation? (beach) ... or maybe you will. Although the beach is also symbolic of unconscious energy (ocean) meeting your conscious world (land). ??? Make any sense yet? IP: Logged |

Hi Ra, Looks like we all are keeping you busy! This statement struck me as quite telling for how I am FEELING right now- "Although the beach is also symbolic of unconscious energy (ocean) meeting your conscious world (land)." Strange because I had dreams flowing one into the next last night-seamlessly. The last one had to do with the time change (to standard time) it will be getting darker sooner and the "darkness" surrounding me concerned me. The time changes running through my mind (and it getting darker) and me willing it back to lightness- I was dragging myself back to the present moment in the dream. Had to get home before it got dark. Is this another manifestation of the black snow? I am going to have to figure this out! Thanks and Cindi ------------------ Feel it, Mean it, Say it IP: Logged |

Yes, Cindi, the meaning is very similar. And in the first dream you woke yourself up - in the second you "willed" the lightness back. Very similar.I would say that there is an energy approaching you that you do not yet wish to meet. Any idea what it could be? IP: Logged |

Hi Ra,I'm not sure about this. I had an intense emotional release over the weekend, but it was only a partial release. I still feel that something is looming over me. My gut says that it is going to be me confronting me , if that makes any sense. And boy, I will be in trouble.... Cindi IP: Logged |
