My oldest daughter had this dream from June...and I just found it on my Livejournal...

the gifts of my daughters [Jun. 4th, 2003|09:19 pm]
[ mood | sleepy ]

I'm finding that Emily shares the same gifts as me, as far as psychic/mystical kinda stuff...and she fell asleep tonight, before dinner...I let her sleep and she woke up hysterical. She dreamt that my stepdad died. He has been the only grandpa from my family that she knows, as daddy is dead...but she said that she was at school and someone called. They told her but noone came to pick her up and she was in Mrs Hunter's class crying...then, Mrs Meador, her fav teacher, took her to the funeral. She found me up front about to give a eulogy, but I became very upset and couldn't do it. My mother was not there, but their dog was...

Very heartbreaking....

Now...my stepfather died last month...and Emily was at school the day before he died...she called me at my parent's house, from school, and said that she had a horrible feeling and burst into tears during class and begged me to come and get her...so, I did. And he passed the next day. I did not give a eulogy, however I did help the Pastor write it...and much more eerie...my mother was NOT at the funeral, as she became VERY ill and was in the hospital...and the bit about their dog being at the funeral...they had recently given Sandy their dog to my stepfather's nephew...and Richard the nephew was at the funeral...I hadn't seen him in about 15 years...and he made a point to come and tell me that Sandy was doing very well....

Pardon me my choice of words in advance, I don't wish to be rude in any way, but sometimes I tend to choose the wrong words.. English is not my mother tongue.

Your daughter's dream predicted the whole happening... I don't really know what to say, but it's scary. Well, not so much scary as it makes you think.. what else could she see or dream...

I really hope she's ok, because such a dream and certainly what followed afterwards is freaky.

Take care of yourselves,

Robyn.

Hi Maliuk and welcome to Lindaland! Well...my dad had been sick for 2 years with cancer. So, we pretty much knew he was going to die, but we had no idea when. And we certainly had no idea about the other things that Emily dreamt.

I had forgotten about this dream, until I found it today amongst some of my journals. And it's freaked me out a bit too. But she is fine.

again Welcome!
