last night I dreamt I was in a forest, and I was surrounded by very thick leaves...they were dark green and beautiful...I felt them with my hands and I was pushing them back only to see more leaves...I was not frightened...just trying to find the ground...but couldn't..

Very simply, you are trying to "ground" yourself. The symbology here suggests multi-layered energies at work within your unconscious self (forest) which make it difficult for you to know exactly where you stand, or how you stand. There are issues of growth (green), community or family (surrounded by leaves), and life/death issues (leaves on ground) all in an interplay which have you a bit "ungrounded". Quite natural, I would say!

Not a bad dream at all, simply a reflection of your unconscious mind, which is sorting things out.
