I had a most interesting dream two nights ago that I'd love some opinions on. I'm a fairly active dreamer, and I pay attention to all my dreams, but this one is clearly not created from my own mind and I think it deserves special attention.

I am outside with a large group of friends, waiting to go somewhere. It's cold outside and there is a lake near us that is frozen. I'm waiting there when a woman walks up next to me and we start walking together. We don't walk for very long when I notice that we've entered another dimension. She asks me how I know that we're in another dimension- and I look around and the lake that was frozen is not frozen anymore, and I tell her this. I start to worry that my friends will be wondering where I am- but then I think, "No, there is no time here, so they won't notice I'm gone."

This woman is very familiar to me, and her name starts with an M- Mary I think. She and I come to a little place where she settles down and I sit down with her. Then I ask her- "Mary, what about my friend "John"? Sometimes I think there's something between us and then sometimes I think it's just SILLY." She pauses, closes her eyes, and says very clearly: "There are parts of him that are more evolved than you."

Slight clarification- this friend, "John", is someone I've had an attraction to for about two years. There's a lot to it that I won't go into unless someone is interested. But I dream of him quite often.

So at this point in the dream I know that I'm dreaming and I think to myself, this is a very important message for me to take with me.

I'm very interested in this female presence in the dream. I feel very sure that this isn't something that my mind created, but an actual infiltration from another source. I'm wondering if anyone has had contact with a spirit guide during a dream. And I'd love some interpretation if anyone is inspired to do so! I'd especially love any thoughts on this friend of mine- I'll give our info:

Me: 12 December 1981, 10:57am, Carmel, NY
Him: 4 August 1981, 11:53pm, Burlington, VT

We have lots of interesting aspects- My moon conj his mars in cancer, his venus conjunct my mars in virgo, my saturn conjunct his moon-saturn-jupiter-pluto in libra. Phew.

Very interesting dream! I know next to nothing about astrology, and there may not be
much to interpret. This dream could simply be very much as you have said, a guidance either by your higher self, or some other entity. The guide seems to have answered a question, rather directly, about the dynamic between you and "John".

"There are parts of him that are more evolved than you."

Does that answer make sense to you? Can you see how it manifests in your waking life situation?
