Okay there's a reoccuring thing appears in some of my dreams of late. I've been dreaming A LOT lately but most of them really aren't interesting enough for me to write down.Actually there are two reoccuring things. The first being bubble gum. Bubble gum in my mouth that I can't get out. For instance, last night I wanted some gum so I popped a piece in my mouth but it turned out to be really big. So I had to dig in my mouth to pull it out piece by piece because I couldn't just spit it out. It's gooey and I can't talk. It sticks to my teeth and everywhere in my mouth. The other thing is losing my teeth. I know this is a common theme in dreams but in mine I'm not concerned with losing my teeth because I know I have an endless amount of teeth that will grow back. I'm supposed to lose them. Other people are often concerned FOR me but I tell them I'm odd because it happens all the time and I don't only get one set of adult teeth to go through like most other people. Usually it's not my front teeth but my eye teeth and the molars in the back.
Any ideas ?? ------------------ and if your world has turned to ashes.. i will leave you never.. even when the sun's blown out, i will shine forever.. i caress you with my charms.. i'm your best friend, the dream.. i'm the light that guides you through the nights and deepest haze IP: Logged |

There you are. I was wondering about you today.Teeth falling out seem to indicate anxiety much of the time. Sometimes the anxiety has to do with physical appearance, or identity, but it could be anxiety about nearly anything. Now the bubble gum ... not completely sure, but it could suggest an inability to communicate, like you want to say something to someone but just can't "spit it out". Or it could just indicate general communication frustration. Does any of that apply to you? IP: Logged |

I'm always around Yes I've been dreaming but a lot of them have been pretty simple to interpret. Like last night I dreamed my wallet was stolen, etc. etc. Simple stuff Would teeth falling out represent anxiety if I'm not really concerned about it in the dream and I know they'll grow back? The bubble gum thing... well I often think I have a problem communicating the way I want so that is most likely it! Whether it's talking or writing or getting my ideas across... IP: Logged |

You are right Amber, if you are not concerned about the teeth falling out, I would think that would change the meaning. It could be an indication of cyclic activity, it could suggest feelings of being different, or something like that ... I am not sure yet. I will give it some thought. Anyone else have an idea? IP: Logged |

Hi there.About the bubblegum?Hmmm, I would say maybe you are in a sticky situation in some aspect of your life and there seems to be no end ? Or maybe you cant seem to find the right words to communicate about anything of importance in fear of that you will be hurt if you speak out?therefore the bubblegum is holding you back for the right time? Wych~ No matter what happens, what you say, in your waking life, you know you have the inner power to overcome it. I think the teeth growing back shows insight and maturity. Maybe you are at a point in your life where you understand things more deeply than you ever had before... on a different level than others. So, when others lose their teeth, they are gone, but you have a feeling that you are 'special' and separate from the masses. I think you have surpassed/ are in the process of overcoming, the childish notion of identifying yourself so fully with your appearance.. like you have hurdled past that evolution of the soul.. as they are not your front teeth.. your smiling teeth, the ones that form speech and present yourself.. they are your back teeth that you lose.. necessary for tearing and chewing, not smiling. I think that's wonderful. ( Of course, you are still a wonderful looking chick, but you know that if you were in a disfiguring accident, you'd still be loveable because you are intelligent and have a great soul.) The bubble gum..... Something you have to say to someone/yourself, but can't find the words, or don't know them, yet... Keep that one in the front of your mind.IP: Logged |

Thank you ao much moondreamer and pixelpixie I'm not sure the full meaning of the dreams yet but I suppose it will make sense when the waking life situation makes itself clear. I think I'm generally very good at ignoring what bothers me when I'm awake so half the time I don't even realize what the bubble gum dreams mean because I can't think of what it is that I can't communicate about. argh! Thank youuu!
