I am getting everyday one weird dream in this last one week.
Like one day I saw I am washing lot of clothes.
One day I saw I got very long and lovely hair.
One day I saw that there was a small boy who wants to jump from Building, I am telling him don't jump, he jumped and again he came back all okay. He keep on jumping and I am stopping him.
One day I saw there is a little gal, I got in my lap and I have to take care of her. She is a retarded child and can not even do her basic things. But still we both understands each other though people are telling me that she is retarded child.
One day I saw that there is a huge field like sowed recently but there are piece of glasses too sowed in them.

I can't understand any of them. Please help!!

Those are pretty far-out.

yes, sVirgo, i would have to agree that those are pretty far out there. i have read where what we dream represents different parts of our own selves

for example, washing clothes might indicate a desire to somehow cleanse some part of ourselves we might consider "dirty" in some way

i had a similar dream recently about cleaning, only we were digging into the inner workings of an organ, and there was much dirt and accumulated debris indeed!

does that help any? oh, talk about strange dreams. i had a doozy a while back. there were these two penises, detached from anything [and they say men objectify! ha)

the one on the right predominated and became very slender with snake-like curving. it was vividly flesh-colored, but for all practical purposes, it was a snake "head" and my reaction in the dream was one of fascination

i mean, who among us would not have been intrigued? (O.O)

one source said is represented the approach of psychological healing. [i would hope so!]

and about your hair dream, if you were like me, you might have envied a little classmate who had long braids, and that might reflect in your hair dream [are you having a bad hair life, too?]

too

Thank You!! Ranie6!!
Yes, I agree that hair dream might be related to recent TV Show I watched, about Miss US 2004. She got lovely long hair. I saw similar hair like her in my dream wheras I have shoulder length hair only.

Even washing clothes, I was too thinking that I might be cleaning some dirt on myself. Like I am feeling too spiritual these days. Suddenly I started using my time efficiently after watching this dream.

But what about other dreams??? Any help??

in keeping with the theme of washing and connections with our own "dirtiness" there was an old song about washing your hands, and the only part i can remember is "it made her feel as if her hands were clean" was it from that old australian song "Sadie, the cleaning lady, her aching knees ain't gettin' any younger..."?

does anyone else remember the rest?

about the glass in the field. marko pogacnik tells way cool interpretations of jesus' parables in "christ power and the earth goddess" and the one where the neighbor sowed tares in this man's field is far from the normal interpretation

pogacnik "perceives" which words are added on, as their vitality just drops off in the presence of fear. generally, they are the hellfire and brimstone additions.

for example,

"The author of the gospel named after the apostle Matthew has added some verses a little further on which give an entirely different meaning to the parable of the tares. The etheric layers of this interpretation, purportedly coming from the mouth of Jesus, display none of the marks of truth. It is an alien body within the gospel message and not divinely inspired. These verses turn the burning of the darnel into an act of damnation, although the burning was appropriate to its traditional use as kindling, a use with which Jesus as a man of the people would have been familiar. 'The Son of man will send his angels and they will gather out of his kindgom all causes of falling and all who do evil, and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.' (Matt: 13-41)

"Unhappily, during the past two millennia we people of the western lands have too often followed the false interpretation of the parable of the tares. Too often we have equipped and sent out armies which have fallen mercilessly on their fellow men because we have supposed that they were "false", worshipped false gods or interpreted the tradition of Christ's message differently. We have tried to exterminate them as "tares". And is this not still going on today in my own neighborhood under the pretext of 'ethnic cleansing'?" [he is from slovenia]

he goes on to admonish us not to "blame" or judge those who altered jesus' words, as that perpetuates the whole thing...

i don't know if that helps or not, but might the glass symbolize something like this? glass would seem definitely harmful, especially if broken, which i presume it was...perhaps you are reminding yourself in your dream that, although there are those who "seem" to be "planting glass" might it not be your own "self/ego" that is doing the planting?

Eckhard Tolle's book, "the power of now" is a delightful account of his own awakening, and his realization that the ego, or lower, individualized self, was his own worst enemy. i would have to agree with him about that, and thus, it would seem logical that your dream might refer to this part of yourself that is trying to sow the seeds of your spiritual destruction, via the preservation of the ego. i suggest you read the book for further enlightenment as to how to proceed with the process of observing the thinking/feeling part of ourselves with which we have come to identify

by thus dissociating ourselves from this usurper, we do not continue to "feed" our egos. even by fighting against it, we only make it stronger. the secret is in accepting it as a nonjudgmental observer and letting it all float away to wherever retired thoughts and feelings go. hope this helps a little anyway. dreams can be such vivid messengers sometimes

and the boy jumping from the building--same thing. "do you have trouble making decisions? well, yes and no" is there a part of you that wants to "jump into something" and a more cautious part is saying not to do so? the fact that he is not hurt might be telling you to go for it.

and the retarded child. does someone think of you or part of you as retarded? do YOU think of part of yourself as retarded? could this be your awakening self pointing out that your spiritual growth is being retarded somehow. keep holding onto that child in your lap--it is you!

Hi Raine6!!
It is a beautiful explanation.
Yes, the glasses were broken and I saw it was already seed. I don't think so in last week, I felt anywhere ego.
Yes, that's sure lot of thoughts are coming which are saying me to come out of all sorts of fears in my mind.
One more strange thing that "Power of Now" was in my mind last week. I read that book last year, but recently I started feeling that it is coming as part of my life. I sow the seed of Power of Now last year but it turned out recently only.
Thank you very much, the explanation about that boy jump is really very inspiring to me.
Yes, that gal might be me. When I start behaving too much on spiritual side, Yes, my family thinks that she is a gone case.
Thank you again!!

sVirgo, it is hard to put aside "the power of now" in order to go to work! it is such an empowering book, and it explains things in terms that are easy to understand.

i am happy you were able to see something in what i wrote. now any ideas about my own dream of the penises? talk about weird!

About your dreams, For me Penises dream may be more horrified then intrigued. But it is good that you felt fascinated. Don't go on my interpretation. I am still my Mom's little daughter who will get scared on thought of Penis. Please don't laugh!!

What a great string.

Raine, your thoughts are very good.

sVirgo, I just have one Freudian-type of question ... why did you capitalize the word penis, twice?

oooooh, ra, very good question! no doubt some deep drama around that, sVirgo! it's worth thinking about. meditate upon it and see what "comes up"

and, ra, thank you for the thumbs up. what do YOU think my dream meant? and yes, i must say i WAS fascinated. read my dream and see if you would not also be intrigued? there was another but don't have time to post it...will do so later

sVirgo, i think it would be very important for you to look into this a bit further. it is quite apparent that there is some energy bound up there, which you can unbind by just looking at it from the observer position. watch your body's reactions when you think about it...be sure to stay grounded as just an observer. if this gets too intense, back off for a while and resume it later. your body will tell you what you need to know as you trust it. the mind will try to influence you, but accept any and all thoughts that come your way, and accept them without judgment or analysis and send them on their way into the ethers. any physical reactions may reveal why you are reacting in these ways which have brought attention to an area that needs some "work"...good luck, and please let me know what happens. i care

Hello raine

Disembodied penises ... hmmm. Psychological healing could certainly be the basis of the dream, but of what sort, and why?

There is a great deal of masculine symbology - penis, right side, and snake - all masculine symbols in this context. Both the penis and the snake can represent creative force and healing, while the right side could suggest active force and/or conscious awareness. And there being two fits well - separation, polarity, conscious/unconscious, masculine/feminine, inner/outer, etc. - movement of energy. There is also a feeling of kundalini around this dream, perhaps rising from the base chakra (the sexual center).

So, the approach, or the beginning of awareness of some sort of healing or creative energy is definately possible but without more details about the dream it is difficult to say exactly how this is manifesting in your life.

What was happening in your life around the time of this dream?

Awakening sexuality, a healing relationship (or one that needs healing), a need for masculine energies (intellect, action, force), a need for balance?

There are many possibilities. What do you think?

hi ra

what do i think? hm...earlier i had another "two" dream; there were two tigers in the house, and i was okay with them until they disappeared. i looked everywhere for them, finally finding them in the basement. the two is repeating, the tigers were probably passions and the basement was my subconscious. wouldn't freud have loved 'em?

about my relationships. i think i am like mk in realizing that the single life is probably in the cards. [i am a virgo] what sign did she base that on, anyway--is there a generic "singleness indicator?"

oddly enough, i have been busy raising my kids, but now that the last one left the nest recently, my thoughts turned to other companionship and i signed up at an internet dating service

when my "anywhere in the world" came back "no matches found" i figured that pretty much settled it, and was not even looking

then it seemed male energies came out of the woodwork from every quarter, particularly two; each knew about the other. one bought me a plane ticket out east over christmas, only to have it wasted [mercury was in retrograde] and i never did meet the man, and it is doubtful that i will

the other one is local, but not emotionally available, since he is dealing with a host or his own trubbles

awakening sexuality could certainly be a factor, as it's been so long that i'd have to go along with my sister, who says at this point she'd need a can of WD-40 and a set of instructions

i really don't know what's going on, but my "tree" is a weeping willow, which seems to indicate that i would be disappointed in love until the "right one" comes along...

there is a lot to heal in the deep, dark recesses of my psyche, so that is why i said i hoped that would be true. it is supposed to go back to past life origin

also a while back i dreamed that i gave birth to six babies [sixness seems to permeate my world--there were six kids in my family, i had six of my own, my life path number is 33/6 and even my five-leaved plant just acquired two new clusters of six leaves]

and the babies? no more, please! ;o)

all of your suggestions are probably valid. balance...i have had to be mother and father to six kids, so maybe there is a restorative energy approaching, but that would seem to have been more feminine, as in rediscovering my feminine side...hm

does that trigger any other ideas about the meaning? and no, i don't think it amounts to the proverbial penis envy...no woman i have ever talked to knows anything about what that is supposed to be

It's nice to know that raine6, you are Virgo. I love tigers. Whenever I saw tigers, I found myself into very prominent and confident position in my work.
I have not yet meditate on that. To do something new, I need to do it on weekend.

Wow raine, there is a lot going on in your life.

It seems to me that the symbols in your dream were multi-leveled, as often happens in the presence of a snake. I would say that you probably explained much of the symbology in your last post - it all fits together very well.

There was one particular statement you made that caught my attention ... "i really don't know what's going on, but my "tree" is a weeping willow, which seems to indicate that i would be disappointed in love until the "right one" comes along..." ... the right one, or as you said about your dream "the one on the right". Yet another possible level of meaning. A premonition?

hm...thanks to both of you for your input. about the tigers, i actually wondered if they might represent actual tigers that i might have some day [i do not like the word "own"] they were SO real, and when they walked their muscles moved just as they would in real life. i also have TWO cats, Jack and Shadow, but they are little "wusses"--even if they grew exponentially they would still be little kitty-cats, incapable of a roar. oh, wait, that's lions. do tigers roar???

ra, you do not know the half of what is "going on in my life" but mostly it creeps on in "this petty pace from day to day" i have been carless all of 2004 so far, and i keep getting "it'll be done tomorrow"

three days ago it was "for sure" tomorrow, so that is progress. while it was on the lot waiting for body repairs from where my son drove it into a 25-mph-speed limit sign, a semi backed into it...i am afraid i have passed along my bad car-ma to him, as i have quite a history of two (!) fires with cars, two (!) major breakdowns in indiana a day apart, accidents--one car being totalled two (!) days after i got it...hey what is all THAT about??? i had forgotten my history

in spite of the ADD, i am learning to meditate. i have successes and i have failures...perhaps that is the duality of it all?

"the one on the right"--hey, for a while i was virtually involved with a guy who was a fan of rush limbaugh, does that count?

i knew that couldn't last, although we talked for four hours one night, and i thought we might actually learn something from each other. i learned his investments kept him too busy for any kind of relationship. he complained how lonely it was at the top, but i said it got that way down in the bottoms too... sigh

...the one on the right was the snake one...hm...geez our culture has a negative connotation around snakes, but the "deep" stuff all seems to be positive and healing

guess i'll have to wait and see...i shall report back if anything changes...and sVirgo, i shall be eager to hear anything about this weekend and your chance to meditate...

it's all good

aw, shucks, pix...what a nice thing to say

here comes some more duality...there is that part of me that attaches to such a compliment, but then there is the other part, that comes from just having read thich nhat hanh's "old path white clouds" and eckhart tolle's "the power of now" and don miguel ruiz's "the four agreements", all of which say not to invest in what others think, inasmuch as it can change tomorrow--or today for that matter

if we take the good we have to take the bad, and "it's all good" isn't it?

i do feel some psychological healing, though. i guess the fact that i can step aside and "view" it from a detached position is a whole lot better than what i probably would have done formerly--which is set myself up for the next criticism after getting a big head from a scrap of praise

maybe there is hope for the healing of the planet then, eh? this poor ol' planet has had to absorb all of our crap all this time...you know, the other day, i just had this picture of us as festering insects on the skin of the planet...bombing each other and causing aberrations on the surface as we exploit her resources and return pollution in exchange...how very, very sad

but there are people who have studied this deeply...in fact, there is a seminar on reverential ecology coming up in may--and they are offering scholarships to those who cannot afford it, which i thought was awfully nice of them. if anyone is interested, it's at:
http://www.miriamswell.org/events/current/temp_event_details.cfm?Event_ID=39

i guess i oughta post that at gaia's site too...later...

thanks for your kindness, pixelpixie...it did make my day, for good or "good"

Hi raine6!!
I tried to meditate but I could not, as I don't have any image of that in my mind. Why I don't have even though I am a mother of a child, because I never opened my eyes. So that terror is still there, but I hope when I will meet my real person. I would definitely dare to keep my eyes open.

Hi raine6,

Actually, I can not visualize penis so how can I meditate on that. Yes, I do feel scared. The reason could be that my Mom used to say that you can not concentrate on studies if you will think on those things. So may be I could remember only those words and remained an obedient daughter. I am the only one in my family who did a lot in her life related to career.
So now I think that I have to open up myself in sex when I will meet my right person. Then that time I might like to study that subject too.

well, sVirgo, i have to apologize about not returning sooner. i had to take a few days off because of the craziness going on in global unity, but i still wanted to see how you were doing here in "dreamland" )

i am glad that i stopped here tonight, because i also just read your post about the blood and oil. clearly you are going through some type of inner unfoldment of some kind

you mentioned the obedient daughter and how your mother had told you to focus on other things. i am wondering why she would specifically spell that out to you. why do you think she would say that? how old were you at the time? could something be trying to surface here about your earlier youth or childhood?

like, was she maybe trying to help you forget something that had happened? it seems odd that your mother would tell you that, as my mother never mentioned anything like that. but then if you are hindu, that might have something to do with it

have you ever discussed this with other hindu women? would this seem out of character in their upbringing? is your mother still living? maybe you could have a conversation about it with her that might prove helpful

and you might wish to read and study more about the female principle. personally, i feel that the piscean age was a more fiery male oriented era, filled with sacrifices and altars, etc., whereas the coming aquarian age is more about water, the feminine element

i don't know if this is really related, but i think the great shift that is about to occur will have the old male element hanging on for dear life and yet the female element will arrive with the "water bearer" and will transcend this male headiness

perhaps you have a role in bringing this about? your sexuality seems to have become the focus--and maybe that is true with me, too, inasmuch as my dream sort of started all of this

we must re-post five years from now and see how it all plays out! but in the meantime, let's keep talking. i enjoy this forum, and feel we can all help each other to learn a lot

may i ask how old you are? maybe that would indicate which "era" of life you were in, of those five--i think infant, child, maiden, woman and crone

i shall read more about the goddess principle too. did you know that in the christian church, the pope was born during an eclipse? the male sun was not necessarily overshadowed by the female moon as much as it was a joining together in balance that has been out of balance for so long now

that would seem to indicate that the pope would preside over this entrance of the feminine counterpart into the godhead, whether he understands or approves or not, as he has consistently forbidden women equal rights

anyway, i am getting long here...it will be interesting to explore more of the symbolism in our dreams

i think i'll go get me some now

Hi Raine6,
Actually this is in our Hindu culture(some of the families) where they don't talk openly about sex with their children. Usually they keep girls in dark. Having Virgo characterstics, I usually live with extremes.

I am 39. But when I got married first(only) time I was just 19 yrs. The important thing in marriage is communication which was missing totally. So we never talked about it. Moreover it was an arrange marriage so love was also missing.

Now I am divorced, so again it is missing. Another principle I am following that I want to fall in love with the person with whom I want to have sex. So falling in love is not an easy thing for me. Having sex like a food is not in my dictionary. I really want to fall in love to have/enjoy it.

My Mom is alive but still we are not open. If I will talk about it, I will get blame that I am turned wrong. I never got much time to sit with female friends after marriage as I continued my studies and work together. Now when I talked to my females friends, they feel strange about me, like I am from weird planet, so again I don't talk on that subject.
