Topic: Please help me with this crazy costume in a dreaam

I'm not going to try and tell all of this dream, it's very long and involved.But one part I can't figure out is....I'm wearing a costume that is part vampire and part spider. The cape was attached at the outside of the legs and the inside of the arms. There were arms attached all over the cape and bodice and fake breasts attached everywhere, you know the kind some women will stick in their bra that are all jiggly....Anyways, I ended up getting in the shower afterwards. I have many strange dreams, but I think this costume tops them all. In the dream I felt not weird, just uncomfortable.... Lol, help me if you can with a meaning, I'm stumped lol Radna

"darker" aspects of your persona, perhaps unrecognized or unconscious in nature, or perhaps a part of yourself that you wish to remain concealed/hidden. Were the arms that were "attached all over" human or spider? This may seem too obvious but I must ask it ... has there literally been some kind of breast issue on your mind lately? Or do you think that they were more symbolic? Was the shower part of the dream? You said "in the shower afterwards" ... after what?  IP: Logged |

The arms were human = ) And I don't normaly think about my breasts (or others I supose lol) hardly at all = ) As far as the shower, I ended up getting into the shower costume and all in my dream.Thank you so much Love Radna IP: Logged |

There are different ways of looking at the symbols, so you will have to pick which you feel are right, if any. The arms could be a pun for "arming yourself" against something, defending. Or they could symbolize a need to "reach out", or be emphasizing the manner in which you are "handling" something ... or they could even symbolize a sense of being smothered. The fake breasts could symbolize something false about yourself, something sexual, intimate, or related to self-image, self-esteem -- something about the way you appear to the world that is not really so. This could be about someone else, but I do not think so. The end seems to suggest that whatever is symbolized by your costume is something you wish to cleanse yourself of, wash away, purify. The beginning suggests that whatever this is, it is something perhaps unconscious, or subconscious, so you may not be completely aware of it's implications. Does any of this make sense yet?
