thank god i found this !just when i thought i wd go bonkers cuz of the lack of ppl to discuss these matters with i hit upon this place !!i'm a 19 yr old girl n hv a gemini moon n gemini ascendant n ,trust me , its really hard when u cant talk abt stuff like this to ur college friends , cuz they r 'uninitiated'!ive been having wierd dreams over the past 5 months...the dreams are quite similar in nature. saturn is transiting thru my chart rite now .it's the saturn-serpent-seven cycle for me.it started in 2000 n wil get over in 2007. its said that during this cycle , the opening of the 3rd eye takes place , n the higher self starts naking its presence felt thru intuition n deja vu. that truly has happened with me. but along with that ive also been having very wierd dreams...n guess wat i see in them ?? SNAKES !! i dunno y ive started dreaming abt snakes so much. is it in any way connected with my saturn-seven cycle....the serpent eating its tail , etc ? in most dreams i see myself either killin the snake or protecting someone in my family from it....like my brother , for instance. i really wanna know wat this means . i recently cast my bro's natal chart n saw that he was approaching his saturn-seven cycle , n i told him bout the significance , etc. cd this incident be connected to the dream in any way ? plz share ur views n opinions with me. oh , since i'm new..a lil about myself.like many of u , ive been reincarnated far away from our original home of atlantis ..in india .im into yoga , meditation n hv read a lot on ancient hindu n buddhist philosophy.n of course , i'm a HUGE fan of linda.in fact her 'starsigns' 1st got me interested in all this . do lemme know wat u thought of the dream cheers ! Oh my gosh! I feel about the same way you do about who to talk to about things like this! And I've seen snakes too! Weird! I don't see them in my dreams tho. I see them literally right in front of me, but not in the sense that there is an actual snake there. It's hard to describe. I see it in thin air, along with other "entities." I seen them recently like within the past few days! I don't know about if there's a saturn transit in my chart (that's way advanced for me to find out on my own) But I have seen the third eye. sometimes it's small, sometimes it gets bigger, depending on what the person is thinking I guess. And it just looks at me. It's strange, but at the same time kinda cool to be able to see that, but then again, am I crazy? So , I'm up there with you oober-galaxian on what this meansI have a pisces sun virgo moon aries ascendant IP: Logged |

Hello oober-galaxian Cool name Snakes are one of those symbols that have a thousand possible meanings, some positive, some negative. It all depends upon how an individual views them in waking life, and how they appear in the dream. I like to interpret a snake as a wisdom, healing, or kundalini symbol, but it can just as often represent fear, temptation, sin, or danger. Although I am not a big fan of Freud, the sexual symbology surrounding the snake appears often as well, indicating issues with men or sex. The rising kundalini makes sense in the light of what you said about the higher self making it's presence known, and the culmination of the kundalini is the energizing/awakening of the "third eye", the final chakra (arguably). But snakes also have a cyclic symbology, as well as a renewal/resurrection symbology, both of which fit well with what you said about the Saturn Seven Cycle. It seems there are several possibilities that could apply to you. What do you think? Does anything strike a chord? Keep in mind that you are killing and protecting others from these snakes. This could suggest several different things as well, depending on what you think the snakes represent. IP: Logged |

well , i just broke up with my boyfriend , so maybe that cd have some relevance in the freudian sense. i had actually thought he was my twin s-elf , but inspite of having near-perfect compatibility we broke up. apart from this , there is no real 'trouble' with men. in fact , i had these dreams even b4 we broke up.i think the snake as a symbol of change is probably more applicable.i have changed a lot as a person over the last 2 yrs , from the time i started taking an interest in this. i have become more mature n forgiving ....definitely more 'generous-hearted' ...lol. this change has surprised me as well cuz previously i used to be quite intolerant n impatient with ppl. nowadays i sympathise with their problems n actually feel i'm here to give them a solution . lately , i always get a feeling that ive been here n seen all of this , i feel quite tired 'soul-wise' .... as if i'm very old. n its wierd cuz i'm just 19.all this has happened suddenly over the last 2 yrs n it's continuing , so i do feel i'm going thru some transformation inside. thanx for that , ra

Hi oober-G Yes, transformation and change. Shedding the old, growing. Snakes are also related to fire and can hold the same transmutation symbology. So it seems that the snakes in your dreams mean a bunch of things! You said these dreams began about five months ago ... what was happening in your life at that time? And if you feel the snakes do symbolize positive change, then you must ask yourself why you are killing them and protecting against them. What are you trying to stop? What feels threatening to you? hi ra well , around 6 months back i had a major accident n i was lying in bed recuperating. i was bedridden for 1.5 months n its during this time that i started having these wierd dreams . i bore the pain the best i cd n kept on reminding myself that i truly deserved this , tht it was the result of some bad karma that i had created in some past life. i started praying to god everyday (something i never did b4 ) , n thanked him for helping me negate my karma.during this period , i wd sleep almost 20 hrs a day , n it's then i had these wierd snake dreams .i didnt c myself protecting someone i know from a snake in all these dreams. in fact , i distinctly remember one of the dreams cuz it was so real.i saw myself lying on the bed n looking up at the window n i saw around 3 or 4 snakes at my window . an odd thing was that the snakes were hissing very very loudly.it was so real , that i woke up with a start ! but for the last 2 weeks or so i haven't had a single snake dream . ive started having 'normal' dreams , where i see my friends , family , ex-bf , but no snakes thankfully ! so the dreams started after my accident. cd that have any significance ? i was very steady with my bf when the dreams started , so i dont think there is any 'guy trouble' here. btw , this accident is the only one i've ever had in my life . queer thing is a no. of astrologers n palmists had warned me since the age of 10 almost that i wd have a major accident when i wd be around 18-19 yrs old , but i never took them seriously . do lemme know wat u think !
