If everyone contains all of the knowledge of the universe through the collective unconscious......Do simple people have only simple dreams? (the sleeping kind)
Buy simple I mean people who live simple lives, or perhaps someone with mental retardation, or autism.
If they don't have the facilties to access higher realms, are they denied spiritual awareness? I personally believe "Ignorance Is Bliss" and that at birth they already had access to the realms we strive to reach.
Just a thought to put out there.

I believe that you are right! A wise man that I knew told me that the more one knows, the more responsibility one has..and I too believe that ignorance is bliss...and meaning that in the best way.... having known and worked with some very "simple" folk. They spoke of dreams that were generally about everyday occurances and most of them were good happy dreams. I imagine that spirituality for them had been considered and agreed upon prior to the current "simple" incarnation...seems only fair!  IP: Logged |

Where dreams are concerned, they probably do experience simple imagery and everyday situations (generally speaking!), but that does not exclude them from having a profound dream experience, a prodding from within which could effectively press them "forward"/"upward". The dream imagery itself may be simple, but the mental/emotional connections with any particular symbol can reach just as deep as with one more "complex". And the collective unconscious is always there, in the background, occassionally throwing some archetypal energy/imagery into the scene. You never know what the personal unconscious and subconscious is going to latch onto, absorb, or realize.  IP: Logged |

Ra, Haven't had any unique dreams lately. I have been asking to meet my spirit guide everynight before I go to bed. I sleep like a rock! Lately, when I wake up, I know my dreams are about teaching, but I can't remember any details. I'll be patient.
