This dream felt so important.. and what is this.. the major dreams I am remembering have to do with Fire and Water.
This morning, I woke from a dream that I remembered vividly, so I thought I'd share it, it seemed important. The tone of the dream was somewhat flirty... there was a site in a forest, almost like an excavation, and a bunch of people were around it. There was a man who I was attracted to across at the other site, and he kept looking at me. There was a spring/well, that was sandy coloured stone.. very solid and traditionally well-shaped. ( as in.. shaped like a well.. not well-shaped, rowwwwr) The container that held the water was also stone, and it fit inside it perfectly, made a sound like well-fitting stones rubbing together. Come to think of it, this would have made the water very heavy, but hey, it's a dream. I took a drink from the well, and the water tasted very clear, but very Earthy... it was pleasant, but I definately tasted Earth.. not fresh clear water.
It was satisfying though. I enjoyed it.

What do you make of this? I tasted in my dream, and the feelings and sensations were pleasant... unremarkable, yet memorable, it seemed significant.

Well without looking up the symbology of this just yet - the thing that strikes me first in this dream is the well and how it reminds me immediately of a chalice or cauldron (I'm a witch so of course I think of those things!). In ritual those things represent the female and even the female organs and female sexuality and fertility. That makes sense considering the dream is so flirty.

Now looking up some stuff

A forest! Could imply getting back to nature or mysticism. Could represent fertility, growth, plenty, peace.

A well: What I mentioned above but very personal. Sort of like a tap into your individual spirit and going straight to the source. You drinking from the well could be spiritual refreshment. Maybe it tasted earthy because.. well when I think of earth I think of grounding and foundations. So perhaps grounding yourself spiritually or setting a foundation for yourself spiritually.

I'm not sure where exactly the guy fits in. Maybe someone else has some ideas about him. Or maybe you are just horny and need some soul-shattering tantric sex!!! <~~~~ sorry couldn't help myself.

Excellent.

Great thoughts Amber. These things definately tie in. I interpret this forest as the unconscious, and the well as the subconscious. The scene is one of spirituality, or sacred energies ... both male (guy) and female (well/stone bowl). You seem to be tapping this energy in some way (drink from well). It is very possible that this dream is sexual in meaning as well, as Amber said.

Very interesting symbology. I am going to take a closer look tomorrow.

... and I think this is related to the freezer/fire dream. That dream was probably about something "frozen", stored away, and this one includes an excavation ... what are you digging up?

Thanks for the interpretations.
Yeah, I mean, the sexual imagery is apparent, simply because the receptacle fit inside the well so well. They made that sound together, like in movies, I guess, when a crypt is moved, or something.. that ( I wish I could show you with my awesome sound effects and gesticulating.....) "SShhhhhhhh" sound as it rushed up the well. Plus the whole water thing.. and the tone of the dream was flirty, but not overtly so... more playful. But I mean, that's my life though.... always an element of that dynamic floating around. I wouldn't have it any other way. We Leo risings all understand that.. now, c'mon!!!

I did mention in my last dream thread.. the freezer one, where I went on and on as usual. I am dealing with moving/ changing dilemmas. Changeable and static... it is interesting.. things will feel quite solid and perfect, everything pointing in the proper direction, and then something will interfere with that normalcy, and my fantasies click into being again... I always want more, I always want to follow through, just to see. Maybe I need to grow up a little more. I don't know.. this family stuff is so rewarding, but also challenging. I want to eat cake. You know? But do I need to eat it? Heck no. The icing is wonderful as is, it doesn't need embellishing. *maybe some sprinkles, and don't forget the candles.. many of them, beautifully lit.*

I only want the kind of baby I can visit and give back.. you know, the kind I don't have to give birth to. I loved being pregnant, I totally did.... but man oh man. My breasts have grown and shrunk and grown and shrunk and right now they are stable, but any more of that, and they will go to pot. So in the name of my breasts,for their posterity and what is left of their perkiness, I say 'nay'. *looks up with a tear in her eye....pleading; "Think of the breasts. Siiiigh"*
Besides, they grow up and become children and then teeneagers and then adults. I have to shape them!!!!! I have already corrupted two children. LOL. Naw, they'll be okay, I am kidding.

no joke though, we aren't using any form other than condoms... which I HATE HATE HATE!!!!! So sometimes we don't start with one.... roulette, I know. Dumb dumb dumb dumb.. and really though, it isn't until AFTER, that I go.. damn, that was sooo stupid.. during, I am like.. whatever, I don't care. You know how it goes.
But my libido dropped when I was on birth control pills, depo-provera sucked for my body, I am terrified of an IUD, I had issues with 'The sponge'.. short of sterilization, we don't have many options.. abstinance IS NOT one of those options.
*Throws hands up in air* *shrugs*
