Hey Ra, no hurry on this, I completely understand the word 'busy!' But I wanted to jot it down, because it was so odd. Often I know what my dreams mean, or they just float away from my consciousness, but this one woke me, which is also unusual. After a series of other dreams...what I recall is walking down a set of stairs (might have been at my sister's house, not sure), drinking a glass of water. The glasses were definitely the type my sis just bought, colorless plastic, frosted though, so they were opaque. The water was clear and fresh...it was nearly gone when I looked into the glass and at the bottom, was a wasp nest. I could see a wasp in the glass, and felt one caught in my hair. My hair is long, it was near the bottom, but I yelped "Help, there's one in my hair!" And I was so startled that I woke. I wasn't stung and I wasn't terrified, but they did scare me in the way that wasps do. This segment was part of some other disjointed dreaming that I can't really recall clearly. So...there it is. If you or anyone has an impression about it, I'd love to hear it. No hurry, and thank you in advance. Love to you! IP: Logged |

Hi trillian! Good to have you here. Interesting dream. The symbols are so utterly obvious, and yet I cannot seem to wrap my mind around their entirety. I am missing something. A few questions could help clarufy ... The water seems to be saying something about cleansing, purifying, or enlivening - have you been cleansing or purifying yourself on some level? For some reason I get the vague impression that the water has someting to do with relaxing or refreshing yourself ... there is a sort of calm involved ... does this ring any associative bells? Has someone upset your peace? Is someone being spiteful? Have your thoughts been disturbed recently? Is something "bugging" you? Can you associate the wasps with the temperament of some person or situation, or even thoughts? IP: Logged |

Well, now that you mention it Ra... I had a little tiff with my other sister, not the one whose stairs/glass appeared in my dream. It's a sister I've only known about 10 years or so, I was visiting my birth-family, we were playing the game "Cranium" in what I thought was good fun, when she so vehemently disagreed with me that she started yelling at me. I thought we were still just in the game, having a fun, if heated, exchange, when I saw the look on her face. It really threw me, so angry, so ugly was the force of energy she was sending to me. I was shocked and hurt and quit the game.So. Seems pretty obvious, eh? Yes, to the cleansing...I have been trying hard to work on myself, sort out who I really am, trying to stay on a more strictly vegan diet (I indulge in some dairy now and then, but always feel better w/o it or overly processed foods)...and...lots of things have been bugging me! Just doing a lot of reflecting on where I'm going, what are the truest parts of me, feel like I am on the precipice with high hopes for positive possibilities, and yet unsure where I will land. Whew. OK, didn't mean to purge. But your insight astounds...it's a gift to ask the right questions, and lead the seeker back to herself. Blessings to you and your family Ra...I hope the Universe does something nice for you in return. IP: Logged |

That's it! It is about your sister. Everything is going along just fine when ... suddenly wasps. When did this occur with your sister? Was it the same night as the dream, or maybe a day or two before? And thank you for the kind words. The Universe has been far too nice already, so I am making payments after the fact. IP: Logged |

Yup, you're right on. It happened I think three days before the dream. It's been on my mind a bit, it was the first time I felt such blatant animosity from her, felt like a kind of 'true colors' moment. And it was totally unexpected. So be it. Life goes on...and life is good. I'm so happy to hear things are so well with you. IP: Logged | |
