I don't know what to do. This is the second time I have dreamt that he died in a car accident and woke up crying. In the first dream, we had fought and he had gone off in his car. Later I received a call from the hospital that he was critically injured. I ran and hugged him, telling him that I loved him and that if he left me I would be all alone. In my second dream (last night), I saw that we were in our current apartment and again I got a call that he had died in a car accident. I began crying again and thinking of all the times he had playfully teased me, asking me if I would be sorry if he died. I remember thinking how much I loved him and crying. Then I realized that his family didn't know about it as yet and I had to call them up. At that moment I awoke with a start and found my husband alive, safe and sleeping next to me. I hugged him and kissed him so much that he awoke. He asked me what was wrong and I told him that I loved him and that he should promise he would never leave me. Can anyone help me with this dream? I pray its not a premonition or something. My husband is all I have left in this world. IP: Logged |

Sometimes dreams are simply our worst fears comfronted. I know of countless people that have had dreams like this, including myself. What I take from these dreams is that LIFE is precious and our lifetime here is short. Spend some extra time with your husband to help relieve some of your anxiety. When did you have these dreams? How close together where they? Have the two of you been going through anything difficult lately? I will be senting light your way. Try to sleep in peace. -Irish IP: Logged |

Welcome to LindaLand mackthefish. Irish Eyes has sound advice indeed. I think the crux of the dream is in your statement, "he should promise he would never leave me". Is there insecurity in your past or present? Are you concerned that something about him or his life path is coming to an end? Mostly, I think Irish Eyes is on the point. IP: Logged |
