Can you help me to analyze it!!I saw that I am somewhere, where there is a river going around through buildings. I have to cross river, there is no bridge to cross. Then somehow I saw I crossed it, because I wanted to go to across building. Then I entered into that building where some group prayer was going on(this might be part of my Saturday group prayer). When I entered there, I saw a man of quite older than me and his face was full of measles spots. He hugged me and he said that come close to me. I will take care of you. I am like numb and don't know how to react but scared and worried. He kissed me too. I am feeling too bad by his kiss almost crying. IP: Logged |

Let's see if this works ...The river is a barrier. The buildings are structure. The group prayer is your spiritual ideal or connection with the spiritual. The older man could represent a couple of things ... he could represent someone in your life, an aspect of self, or perhaps the male dominated heirarchy of your religion. His measles represent dis-ease - not being at ease - which stems from repressed feelings or some other internal conflict. His hug and kiss could represent passion, religious or spiritual devotion, or could reflect some situation involving a 'relationship' and the energies surrounding it (and your aversion to it). So, from this perspective, it could be that you are feeling separated from your spiritual nature (river) yet very much desire the religious structure that you are accustomed to (buildings/prayer group). But there is something about this religious structure which is bothering you (older man) and causing you to question what it really is that you are spiritually devoted to. That was not precisely the way I wanted to explain this, but I do not have time to re-think my words. Does any of this make sense? IP: Logged |

Actually I don't know, is that fear in me sort of, one mind of me says live your life just being married to God and one mind says that I need partner in my life. So if you are saying religion than may be here it is.
This question is offcourse bothering me.But there is no male dominating person in our group. So why that old person and measles spots on his face came up, I don't know yet. Crossing the river reaching to other building, does it mean I don't want parnter in my life. But then that man claimed that I will take care of you. Why I was scared of him. I don't know. Well, I do not know if there is an actual answer to your situation in this dream, but it is definately a reflection of your divided mind. You said, "one mind of me says live your life just being married to God and one mind says that I need partner in my life", and this is what the dream is about. God or a partner. When you think about 'marrying' God, you are not sure. When you think about a partner, you feel dis-ease, you are not sure. So in the dream, you are upset and almost crying because you want both, but feel you must choose one or the other. Why can you not have both? I think you can. Can't you?  IP: Logged |

Since morning, I also had the same thought, why not both. Why I am trying to do just one, and feel myself guilty like I am betraying to God or Is God my second choice. IP: Logged |

I was reading both these posts and it kind of struck me.
Do you believe God put us here to experience, and live things, and we are a part of 'Him', and each have that 'spark' within us, if we choose to embrace it or turn away from it.. that's our free will, right? We choose to love God. But not God exclusively. God-love is different than human love. It is infinate and indescribable, and of a different calibur than the mortal love. We are all parts of God. God is within and without.
God doesn't only want you to be devoted to Him, He wants you to experience love on this plane, all the emotions.. the highs and lows, the challenges and the beauty. For when you experience it, He does. And when you feel beaten or euphoric, you will always feel the God-head in all these experiences.
So not only should you have both... they are one and the same. All things bring you closer. Love begets Love.
Please don't feel guilt. That is a human based emoion. A sad reminder of the things our souls long for. Humans have twisted love to fit into categories... for society and structure and stability. God doesn't limit, God expands.Those are my thoughts. Take them as you will. I hope they settle and bring an ease and comfort. Please Love. Listen to your soul. IP: Logged |
