Hi I'm back again Amber said I should post this here to see if anyone gets anything from this. I can't really make anything of it so perhaps someone here can? Any twilight zone/tales from the dark side fans?? I'm wondering cause I think this dream might have been an interesting combination of a couple episodes of the show Anyway it starts out with an older man at a train station (btw all of this was in B&W a rare thing for me cause I dream in color). He gets onto his train that pulls into the station and realizes its empty (I realized just a bit ago the man is a very young Ed Begly, drag net guy). He wanders through the train trying to find someone anyone but no one is there until he gets to the very back of the train. A young man sits there silent and dejected. As the train pulls out of the station, I pull up out of the car and see a little area of the station that looks like it was a announcers type booth where they can see all the trains on the track and the ones coming and going. And its is cold and drizzly so it looks like the windows are fogged up as I get closer to the window so i look closer and realize that there is a person in there and they are frozen still. With a sorta horrified look on their face and its almost like i can hear the music of dadadaaaaaaa. LOL Anyway I didn't feel scared I just rejoined the train which had come to the next station and Ed gets off. He goes home but sees no one until he gets to his house and walks in. There's his mistress and her little girl waiting happily for him. Now I had thought it was his wife but came to know it was his mistress. For expedience sake, since my fingers are hurting today unfortunately. There are several moments i want to call cameos, where i would pull back and see other people frozen like the man in the train station and i was just aware that everywhere this was the case except for the people immediately involved. So anyway we have the mistress and the child and Ed. They are happy and loving and then suddenly the young man from the train bursts in and he's hysterical. I sort feel like he was the mistress' husband or maybe brother. Ed gets angry and starts ranting he goes upstairs packs his bag comes back down and says he's never coming back. He storms back to the train station and the wife and child are on the train. They want to go with him. He says no and screams and rants for several moments that he is leaving and never coming back and then there are more people on the train. They are frozen too until Ed turns his head and sees the young man coming onto the train holding the mistress' body limp and bloody in his arms. The young man says that Ed killed her and that's when the frozen people all come back to life and we are in the first train station. I realize then that what we had seen at the house was a flash back as Ed turns back to face us and all he sees is the little girl crying and that he has bloody hands. I wake up. Oddly enough I was all happy when I woke up, relaxed sorta happy not elated happy. So that's my odd dream =p anyone know of a twilight zone/tales from the other side that was like that? It just seemed so much like that and I was watching this from outside the action for a change as well as being totally black and white which i never have.

Hello May, always a pleasure to have you here. A very movie-like, scripted dream. Interesting. I'm on vacation at the moment and about to go fishing ... so I'll give this some deeper thought as soon as I can - might be several days or more. Walk in Peace Anyone else have any ideas? IP: Logged |

I am waiting for some inspiration on this dream ... so far I am not getting it.May, have your inner resources (ie creativity, assertiveness, intellect, reason) been stagnant, empty, or 'frozen' lately? IP: Logged |

Oddly no... Amber and I have been writing like fiends of late. I had thought about that right after the dream. But she and I have been pouring a great deal into our story for the last two months and I feel so how like I'm the most creative I've been for decades LOLAnd the odd movie type dreams are continuing.. though now i'm in the dreams instead of watching them. Its just odd to me I'm used to "story" dreams and I've had those all my life. But this is reather movie quality feel and the one i had yesterday was very very frightening odd but I was part of it so i can't tell if that was just me normal or me off. LOL Terrible thing when your dreams can be divided into normal freaky and not normal freaky =p Thanks for trying though No worries about it. Just something I thought I would see if anyone got anything from IP: Logged |

Wow. I take it as a compliment that you ask me for ideas. None yet, but it's very interesting. I've read it several times to get the story straight; let it percolate for a while, we'll see if my brain comes up with anything. And hello, Mayfair! Nice to 'meet' you. I get the feeling you and she have no lack of dates on Saturday nights, so at the risk of sounding like ten thousand other people... you're cute! (Ra might tell you that at this point, everyone looks cute to me... but don't you believe it. I'm an artist; that adds some weight to my assessments of beauty. ) And I am very, very curious... what are you and Amber writing??? IP: Logged |

I'll have to get MayFair to answer this better because she's good at describing it. But it's a vampire trilogy. We're now working on the second book. IP: Logged |

Sorry I'm here just in and out alot. I get distracted easily.Paras thank you for the sweet comment *blushes* *swats at amber* Oh so I have to be the one to tell everyone the story now LOL. Ok lets see in a nut shell, its the story of two friends who share a belief that no one else is willing to accept and they pursue their goal relentlessly despite the ridicule of their peers and collegues. Their belief is that once upon a time vampires really existed and that they had a huge cult following in Roman times before suddenly vanishing. Their belief is the driving force behind their motivations and the choices they make as the story progresses. They face the ultimate decision of good vs. evil but in a rather shades of gray sort of way. Their choice, to accept their notion of vampiric life and all its consequences are what drive them from that point on. The questions of what motivates a person to do what they do and what is humanity are the pivital (sp?) parts to book one. Of course that was all a whole lot of nicey nicey phrasing for the story, what it comes down to in the end is two women, two vampires (mainly), death, destruction and mayhem on a global scale all in the name of power. I've always been fascinated with motivation and the concept of humanity so I managed to coerce Amber into doing a story or three about it and its rather interesting LOL. I hope that made sense LOL I'm a bit off this morning, still trying to wake back up I'd be happy to go into more though if not May IP: Logged |

Lemme rub your belly!!! I'm so bad, btw. I stepped on the scale this morning and according to it I gained 2 pounds in the past week. how is that possible?! TWO POUNDS? That would be an extra 7000 calories. I don't think that's right. I must be retaining water. must... work... out... today... Tell your boss to go away! IP: Logged |

Sorry to interrupt (again), but I had to tell you this...I'm not finished interpreting your chart, BloodRed, but there is every indication that your book will be very successful. I urge you two to persevere with it, to put every ounce of love and care you can into it. It could make you famous. IP: Logged |

You're not interrupting, paras Your news is wonderful!! We've had that feeling about the books - something we can't quite put our fingers on - something that tells us they could really work. There are many many times when the stories and characters just tell themselves. In fact - the characters are ending up a little different than we had intended because they just take on their own personalities without us knowing. It's fun! May is wonderful wonderful wonderful to write with! We won't stop until we're finished with them IP: Logged |

Mayfair, about your dream ~~I've been carrying around this dream for two months (along with some others ) with no ideas. I was talking with a friend of mine and she expressed an interest in looking at a dream, any dream, to see what her ideas would be. I gladly gave her yours. So, here are her thoughts as she wrote them ... --------------------------- ~~ goes through life feeling alone. (train, looking for answers/someone) ~~ people frozen, either she: -is only concerned with people who have an immediate impact on them, -have a decision to make where no one can help, or -won't take advice from others -can't take advice from others. ~~ scared to make decision because the results are so unclear. (fog, rain, horror) -the results will impact their future, seriously. ~~ mistress not wife - something or someone in their life they want to leave and they can. They have no obligations (mistress) but afraid of results. ~~ whatever they leave behind will go on (just like the child) but they will leave with the impact of the situation on them (blood). ~~ man in back of train, later with dead girl - someone who helped them, or made a decision before for them will come back and show ... "you should have listened to me this is what I told you would happen" ... or, "this is what happens when you are in control." -------------------------------------- My friend used the words "they/them/their" and I am not sure if she meant to. She may have meant "she/her". So, does this make any sense as things were way back when you had the dream? IP: Logged |
