Since listening to your intuition seems to be a good way to make choices..This is what I propose for selecting a president.
Physiognomy. There would be a test the canidates would have to take in order to qualify, both physical and mental. Experts all over the world would present questions for the test. There would be no televising of the canidates or the test results. Only those who passed the test could run for president. Let's say 5 people made it through the tests. (even a potato could run) Remember, no one knows who is running or what they look like.
Next, they would be put in a line up nude, much like that at a police station. There are no republican or democrat labels. Any way the people would pass through the line up get a good look at the canidates, and push a button that corrosponds to the canidate they intuit to be worthy of the post. The votes will be counted, and the winner will have been chosen out of mass collective unconscious for good. The best canidate could be 12, it doesn't matter, that's why there are cabnet members. (They would be chosen the same way).
