about 10 months ago I have dreamt quite an unusual but at the same time also very happy kind of like dream...

Could anyone of you interpret it for me? I would really appreciate it.

I have seen a colored woman (not black and not white - her skin texture was somewhere inbetween)coming out of a wooden hut. That hut was situated in a corner of a forrest, it was in a cozy shade, only here and there you could see some sun through the limbs of the trees. That colored woman was walking barefoot on a little path.

Suddenly I could see that basket from the perspective of her head. In the basket were some nuts and she was shaking that basket and singing to herself a typically African native tribe song. I could see her bare feet walking on the path and also I could see her colored hands holding that basket and at the same time I could hear her singing.

I woke up not a long time ago after that dream (it was in the early morning hours) and that wonderful feeling has accompanied me for the rest of the week...I have had some prophetic dreams before and this dream was also like if it was connected some issue in my real life. The next day I have discovered that I have received an e-mail from someone of whom I thought back than that she was a friend of mine bringing me some news from that continent. She was someone who - at least that was what I thought - could connect between me and one special person - but she did not...It is quite complicated to explain it all here, but what do you think it could indicate?

I do not quite understand what you were saying in the last paragraph about the e-mail, but I do feel that, as you said, " this dream was also like if it was connected some issue in my real life." On a surface level the dream could reflect simplicity and happiness in your life, or perhaps the dream is compensation for a lack of this "wonderful feeling" in your waking life. Make any sense?

Either way, my overwhelming feeling is that this is a past-life memory fragment, which has for whatever reason bubbled up into your awareness. Was Africa on your mind at the time of the dream?

I have considered the possibility that it has something to do with one of my past lives but there could be also other explanation.

About three years ago I have met someone who comes originally from Africa. It was a love at first sight but it did not evolve since he had a girlfriend and he was unable to break up with her - although she has cheated on him...

I did not stay in touch with him but I have regretted it and also after I have not seen him anymore I have continued to meet people who do know him.

I have become friends (coincidentally) with his neighbour in a remote place where I have decided to go for a vacation in order to forget him - but she did not help me to contact him(they are both from Africa and after her return home she did not even tell him that she knows me - but it was only last year that I have discovered this...)It has turned out she likes him apparently as well - although there is no chance for her with him - she has decided to 'cut me off' and not to help me get in touch with him again - I guess because she is simply jealous.

In that week when I was thinking about that whole story I was quite upset and this dream was as if someone from some other sphere is trying to comfort me. The next day after that dream I went to check my e-mail and I have discovered that she has written to me an e-mail a couple of days before - exactly during that critical week. She was - today I find it absurd - 'concerned' if everything is O.K. with me and so on. At that point I have said to myself - fine, I will ask her for his e-mail because I started to have this wierd suspicion that she did not even tell him that she knows me...Obviously - she did not send me his right e-mail and therefore my original plan to send him a birthday card in another two weeks has failed...

It was almost a year ago and so far I did not succeed to find him. But - according to astrology - we have a very good synastry as well as a composite chart - but we are not in touch with each other...It definitely is something karmatic (also indicated by astrology). I have this inner feeling that eventually I will find him - but because so much time has passed I do not know if something will come out of it - 'thanks' to some of the characters surrounding this story. I know that he was upset that I have decided to leave to that 'remote place' in order to forget him - but he has stayed with his girlfriend...and his neighbour did not even tell him that I was not happy about my leave as well - since she did not even send him my regards in a first place.

Also - when I saw him I could imagine being with him in some very exotic place, it was a very romantic union.

From a purely symbolic standpoint, this dream suggests that a shadow aspect of self (coloured woman) is emerging from, or moving within, your unconscious (forest). A shadow aspect is a part of you that is hidden or not acknowledged, for good or bad. In this case we seem to have a positive energy at work, although it may not seem completely so from your current perspective, which is why your dream is suggesting that perhaps you need to take a different perspective (suddenly seing from her head). From this perspective you can see abundance - emotional abundance - (basket of nuts, singing), and you will feel more "grounded" (bare feet on path).

Can you see how this could apply to your situation?

The dream suggests that there is some part of you that you are not recognizing, and that may need to change or otherwise be dealt with.

I just wonder - I am not sure if I unders.tood you correctly - do you think that it might have comforted me that I will meet him at the right time with some help from 'above' (without help of that 'friend' of mine)?

do you think it might mean that I have tried to think logically not to fall in love with him - that is why I did not stay in touch with him - in order to forget him since he was in a relationship back than. After quite horrible week when I have thought about it quite a lot (after twy years of not seeing him) - there was the above mentioned dream and than that e-mail...And than the discovery that this 'friend' of mine was not a real friend - but she misused the situation (since she did not really wish me well)in her own advantage...so that I would not have any kind of access to him...

What I am saying is that it is up to you. If you want him, go get him and do not depend upon others to relay messages and make connections.
