I have these recurring dreams, have had them for years, but more often in the past 6-12 months - in the dream I'm in New Zealand (I lived there for three years right out of HS), with or without friends (usually with them), in varying places, doing varying things, but always I'm visiting. In some I've been flying, in others seeking something, in others uncovering something. In some dreams I fly there myself (physically fly there - not in a plane, me flying), in others I'm just there, there are usually the same friends in the dream (two people, my two best friends there), with other unrecognizable people. Is this something as simple as longing to return to NZ, similar to LS's dream about Hawaii (I lived there almost a year too LS!), or is it likely to be something more because it's recurring? Do you associate a certain growing feeling with New Zealand? Did you feel very happy and fulfilled there, and do you go there in your dreams when something in your real life is stifling you?
I think it is a good feeling, simply because you 'fly' there.. freedom, control... and meet with friends, and have a feeling of peace.
You seek and find things.. uncover things.
Do you still talk with your friends there?Could it be that you are astral travelling there, as well? Meeting their acquaintances, without actually knowing it?
Your soul sharing little glimpses of a time of happiness and peace.
I get little happy familiar bubbles in some dreams of places.. usually they coincide with a feeling I associate with that part of my life, and the location I felt that way in... always clearer in retrospect. Ra can help more, no doubt. IP: Logged |

That was beautiful Pixie. Hello Isis The dream recurs because there is something in your mind that is not resolved pertaining to NZ. The reasons could be any that Ms. Pixie said. Not necessarily good or bad, just something.  IP: Logged |

Thanks Pixie and Ra - Pix to answer your questions, I do probably go there when things in life are stifling, I'm actually planning to relocate there in the next 18 mos - I do indeed have friends there are we still keep in touch regularly. I also have family there.Were it that I was astral travelling there - that would be great, hardly a replacement for going there physically, but better than nothing. I lived in NZ for several years right out of HS, and I always knew that I would move back (permanently) someday when the time was right. There were some things in the US I needed to resolve first. I interpret the recurring dreams as telling me my instincts have been correct, and it's time. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something, I'd hate to think Neptune is screwing around with me... Thanks! IP: Logged |

Sorry I'm new to this site so going back to astral travel.I had my own encounter a year or so ago of astra travel. I found myself (While supposed to be asleep) Flying tawords a place I used to live(literally flying). 2 of my close friends lived there and i found myself flying into thier house and viewing what they were doing. I called them the next day and told them about it and it so happens that night they were doing exactly as I had dreamed, if that wasn't scray enough I described what they were both wearing and it matched correctly. Right down to a hole in one of my friends shirts. Maybe you should get in contact with your friends? Never know. IP: Logged | |
