I had a most vivid dream a few nights ago and it has being annoying me because I cannot find out the meaning of it, I have looked in lots of books on interppreting dreams and did look on the internet but still could'nt find out its meaning. The Dream I had "I was rushing around from lots of different auditions and just about getting there on time these auditions were starting immediately one after another. In these auditions I was doing things like playing musical instruments, tap dancing, ballet, gymnastics, acting, singing, and juggling in my dream I was trying my hardest to have a go at them but I was awful at all of them but after evry attempt at these things I would hear a thunderous round of applause and standing ovations which was most strange as they seemed to come from nowhere. This dream was set in what seemed to be some sort of complex of buildings that I did'nt recognise but I kne my way round. When I woke up I from my dream I really believed I had being to about twenty different auditions that night it was one of the most fantastically realistic dreams I have ever had" Any insight into the meaning of this dream would be very much appreciated. 3! Have you been watching The X-Factor, or Pop Idol re-runs before going to sleep, 3? Always a bonus to have a feel good dream IP: Logged |

hrmmm.. Do you feel lately as if you are 'putting on a show' for yourself? The absence of an audience seems to infer that you are putting on an act for yourself.. and not doing a very good job of it.At least that's the feeling I get! Of course I can be totally off track

Seems like you are doing everything you possibly can prove to yourself you are worthy. Even when you are doing a good job, you may be being too hard on yourself. Are you a perfectionist? Or low on self-esteem? Just my two cents.IP: Logged |

okay...Are you trying very hard to keep up with someone you have just come in to contact with? You feel as if you have to act special and constantly try to do the best you can do. You want to prove yourself, but feel as if you arn't. Rest assured that someone (although you may not no who) is taking a notice of you, and liking the new effort you are putting in. Has this got to do with work? Or school? IP: Logged |

It is so good to see so many different possibilities and perspectives. Thank you all for your input. We should get to the bottom of this one quickly! So here are my thoughts ... This dream probably stems from a waking life anxiety. It is suggested that you are "trying out" some new role/job/position/etc., that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and perhaps ill-prepared, and that you are in need of encouragement. Can you tell us what you are beginning to do or what you are worried about? Is something coming up that has been on your mind? Do you feel under-qualified or overwhelmed in some recent situation? Along with everyone else's questions and thoughts, I think we have covered a lot of ground. Let's see what sticks.

Thanks for the input everybody. I have being thinking about this one quite hard. Most points that have being made are probably partly true. I have started a new course recently, and also have many other things going on some good others not good, it makes me thinks my dream was telling me not to take on so many projects at once.IP: Logged |
