GRRRRRRRRRRR!

SO!
I was in a city (not sure which) and it was at night. I was a teenager - maybe around 17 years old. Judging from how I was dressed and how those around me were dressed - I'm guessing it was sometime in the mid to late 1930's. I had on a dress that came down below my knees, long sleeved coat over it, gloves, and a little hat that perched on the back of my head.

There was a gang of guys I wanted to join up with for some reason. They couldn't really understand why. It seemed my family had quite a bit of money and they all knew who my father was from the neighborhood or something. Some of them didn't even have permanent places to stay and were looking for abandoned buildings to make their 'headquarters'. Plus they considered me a 'stupid girl' so they weren't taking me very seriously.

I ended up impressing them when I found some gadget under the grass by one of the abandoned buildings. It was sort of in an alley and we were sneaking around these buildings. The police weren't chasing us because they didn't know we were there but there was the fear of being caught or yelled at, etc. Anyway, I found this gadget. It's fuzzy dream part here... I knew how it worked and none of the rest of the gang did. So they let me join.

Next thing we are all walking down the sidewalks of the city and I look into the black sky and there is the outline of the full moon - very faint. It turns out it was a total eclipse of a full moon (I know in waking life there was an eclipse last night but I didn't get to see it because it was cloudy) and the shadow was just beginning to reveal the edge of the moon. I was very excited and I told the rest of the guys and made them stop to look at it and watch. They were not nearly as impressed as I was but they watched anyway to humour me.

The moon was HUGE when it was revealed. HUGE and yellowish and hanging low on the horizon. Huge in a way it can't be in waking life unless it was going to crash into us. I was delighted.

Then I noticed a big poster up for a movie I really wanted to see. It starred Laurence Olivier but I don't know who the actress was in it with him. The poster was in black and white and he and the woman were cheeck to cheek. It showed them from the shoulders/necks and up. I don't remember the name of the movie or anything now. In the dream, though, I had quite a 'thing' for Laurence Olivier so I was really excited to see this poster and I stared at it for some time.

I think the part about you coming from a family with money (and the gang knowing who your dad was) and the poster of Laurence Olivier are connected by the movie "Wuthering Heights" (the poster you saw) which he was in at about that time period. The movie is about a poor boy (him) falling in love with a rich girl whos father he works for. She is to good for him. Or so they think.

The gadget you found but did not know what was, but knew how to use it, could be that, that time period is history (its already passed)

The eclipse, and the Moon specificly show the greatness of how you feel. Overwhelming.

lalalinda ~ thank you so much for taking the time to look into it! It's funny because I've never seen "Wuthering Heights". I'll have to put it on my Netflix queue so I can take a look at it. (looking at it now but the dvd isn't yet released.. but will be soon, I think!). I didn't read the book either.. that's interesting you say it sort of correlates.

I expect that this dream will become more clear at some point in the future as we continue to piece this puzzle together. Until then ...
