I had a pretty odd dream last night. First I heard on the radio that Ralph Nader had died. You know, it was a really off-hand comment made by the radio newscaster. And I was just going around asking people why no one knew about this or was making any hype or anything at all, considering he was a runner for president. Some kid told me it was because of a conspiracy made by the Democratic party. Then later in the dream I find out that the government believes that the schools in my area are highly suspected of terrorist attacks because of a video they've just received from terrorists. I see a clip from it, and it looks like some sort of commercial, with a mom handing a young girl a ball. For some unknown reason, I'm the only one that knows that, and the government doesn't do anything about it/shut down any of the schools. And you know, I'm in high school, so I was pretty freaked. The rest of the morning was spent being half-awake and making plans to hop South Florida (where I live) in case it was a nuclear attack. It took me until I was really awake to realize that, hey, shut up brain, that was a just a dream, you're fine.
I don't know, it shook me up. I was so convinced when I was half-asleep that it was real and that I had to leave. I'm thinking the dream could be a culmination of things happening in real life-
- My school putting up gates everywhere and a couple of us people in band getting locked into the school for about twenty minutes late last night after coming back from a football game and just walking around the campus.
- A comment made by my friend that her friend's mom isn't letting her go to school on Tuesday because she's afraid something's going to happen.
- And all of the election crap going on in general.
