"dreams are mirrors in which we see ourselves as we really are, warts and all...the spots where we are most blind...They show us up as stupid when we think we are most wise. Dreams speak with such objectivity because they have 'seen it all before'; their 'memory' is so much longer than ours, it goes back forever and ever"Dreams facinate me, as I spend a third of my life dreaming I try to understand them. Ra, what would your definition of a dream be? I can't say what I think is absolute, but I feel like i'm living another life in my dreams, I can be lucid sometimes, and continue night after night, sometimes I don't remember, but deja vous reminds me I do have a real life in my dreams. I know it's not just the subconcious making sense out of things. Are dreams real? Or symbolic images? You can become awake in a dream, with awareness and emotions, and you can manifest whatever you like. I know dreams have to be real. ------------------ Namaste, Daphne IP: Logged |

Hello Daphne I do not know that I could define what a dream is. I'm not sure one could define it, really. There are certainly various dimensions of dreaming and different levels of it that can be defined easily, but as a whole, the dreaming world is as diverse as nature ... a constant creation ... a reflection of the ever-evolving soul. Maybe that would be my definition ... a reflection of the evolving soul. IP: Logged |

I find when I'm suddenly conscious in my dreams, they then turn into night mares, basically fear manifested them, because I was 'awake'. I have been lucid in a lovely dream, because I had learned to escape the fear, because I had to know, not just believe, that no harm would come to me. My ego used to go wild when I was younger, because I used to observe and control my ego alot, that it was so supressed that It went psycho in my dreams. So that was a sign I needed a different approach in self development. Now they are very enlightening, and usually more precognitive. ------------------ Namaste, Daphne IP: Logged |
