Greetings Dreamers,I had a dream last night that woke up me up at 2:47 am. I was sitting in a car on a tour. There were people I didn't know inside, except for one person. His name is Randy and is a Magician I know in person. We passed by a tall, wooden front gate painted in white. On the top left was the number 96 and the top right had the number 97. There were healthy growths of a beautiful flower that looked to be of an ancient species. The stems were a vibrant green, the leaves looked to be of those belonging to a rose shrub. The blossoms were pinks and dark, soft reds. They blooms were slightly closed but not too tight, lush, and rounded like peony bulbs. Randy had a few stems in his hands and asked me, "What do you think these are called?" I thought for a few moments and instinctly knew they were not of a modern variety and said a few names with uncertainty. I was also wondering if this had been the place where Randy was born. Then he said something along the lines of, "They keep growing and staying alive because I visit from time to time." I was startled by how deep that sentence meant, and felt completely moved by it. Then I woke up completely feeling amazed and shocked. Thoughts? Thank you for reading. Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Sounds beautiful. There was a large fence? It was covered in beautiful ancient flowers. This sounds significant in terms of the past. I wonder if '96 and '97 represent significant years to your magician friend.. Do you still speak to him? Maybe also the fact that he is a magician is relevant too. Fences divide things, but it was covered in ancient, ie; special beautiful things.. familial and familiar. There is something magic about the past, and opening a fence to that is brilliant.IP: Logged |

Pixelpixie, Thank you. It's been a few weeks since Randy and I last chatted. I plan on seeing him soon to share the dream. I think you could be right about some things. Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Hello Aphrodite This dream does have a magical feel to it. My thoughts are very similar to Ms. Pixie's, but still need to ponder it a bit more. Do the numbers mean anything to you? Years (1996/97)? Astrological? Are you in a blossoming relationship? Are you in love? I do not know your views on immortality, but could this be alluded to? What is in the beginning/blooming/growth phase in your life? Perhaps related to some ancient knowledge/teaching? (like astrology, tarot, religion, whatever) Did you know that the rose is sacred to the goddess Aphrodite? (especially pink and red) IP: Logged |

Hello Ra,Thanks for your reply. Happy Thanksgiving! The years '96 and '97 were the happiest times of my life in school. I was working hard, very happy with friends, and had a future I was looking forward to. Then toward the later third of '97, things changed badly and I was not adjusting well to University life. There is no blossoming relationship and I am not in love. (:-/ but that's not the point! Hehe). I don't know very much about immortality, but I do see an allusion to it. Something new blooming in my life related to ancient teachings? I have relaxed and de-focused my attention from the intense studying I did in the past. Just going with the flow and listening to my gut. What do you think about this? Oh, no I did not know that the Rose is sacred to the goddess Aphrodite! Sounds wonderful. It's holiday and I will be checking in with my friend next week. This is the first time I've re-membered a dream this esoteric in nature. Love, Aphrodite IP: Logged |

I am not exactly sure how to interpret your dream, or even if I can. Some dreams are meant for the experience, the feeling, a knowing that cannot really be interpretted. That's not to say there is nothing symbolic in this dream, for there surely is, but I would be hard pressed to find a verbal expression for how the dream touched you, for how deep the symbology penetrated you. I will tell you what I sense, though. I do not know you very well, Aphrodite, but I have always felt from your posts that you are a strong, wise, thoughtful, opinionated individual ... so I find the difference that I feel in this topic interesting. You seem almost wide-eyed and child-like in your amazement and, dare I say, ... innocence? **it could just be me ** It feels like this dream is conveying some kind of deep-leveled lesson, one which is being accompanied by a shift of some sort - very difficult to put a finger on - an internal shift in your understanding or perception. There also is a feeling of some cyclic activity, perhaps in the growth process itself. I don't know, Aphrodite. My impressions all revolve around an internal shift, a shift in awareness, and perhaps cyclic activity on a deep level. It feels like something important or significant is happening. What do you think? IP: Logged |

I think you were correct to use the term 'innocence' and I know Aphrodite will not think it wrong either. She is an Awesome Aries after all... embodies innocence, not in opinions or intelligence, verve or passion, but in spirit. On an inner level, her approach is one of spectacular perception and a wonder at the way things are. Well, okay, there is that Capricorn Moon blurring the edges of pureness, but still.... you might dillute, but you cannot take away the innocence at the core. The most pure innocence.. a joy full unveiling, a look-as-if-for-the-first-time vision. The more evolved she gets, the more refined this perception... this magic.IP: Logged |

Wow, you two are amazing! I didn't catch the completely different ebb and flow presented in the dream - which indeed is the inner part of me, until you two saw it. The part that exists outside the boundaries and dimensions of everyday life. It's the feeling I hope to have with my Soul Mate one day. Just being a gentle person, wide eyed and innocent. I'm really glad that I posted it here and got insightful feedback I couldn't have done on my own. I am very thankful Thank you for the compliments, kind sentiments, and reading. Too sweet, hard to believe sometimes that those things are actually me. You're both the best. Eternally Grateful, Aphrodite IP: Logged |
