Early this morning I had a dream that i cannot make out what it suppose to mean. Here it is:

My father and I went for lunch at an al fresco restaurant which had a good reputaion.
We had our starters and were waiting for our main course. We waited and waited and waited. It seemed as if we waited for days on end.
Eventually my father got agitated and got up and went to the bar for a beer or two.
I was getting angry now as I couldn't see where our watron was.
Afterwards, I went to go and find my dad and I spoke to him about something.
As I made my way back to our table, I spotted friends of mine sitting at a table(four of them).
I went to go and speak to them and I said to them not to wait for thier food to come as I told them of my current experience. I then walked away.
The restaurant was fairly busy, but not too busy.

Could anyone please tell me what is going on?

This may be too simplistic, but, in waking life, are you waiting for something and this is causing frustration?

Restaurant ~ opening up to new concepts, sharing food for thought, or giving your mental sustenance to others.

Father ~ Depicts authority, responsibility, discipline, maybe punishment, leader, man of the house - also any qualities you associate with fathers in general or your father in particular.

Friends ~ Usually denote a quality aspect, characteristic, trait, habit, problem, or hang-up of your friend which you have not yet noticed but need to recognize. Could be a trait in *yourself* you need to recognize. Because they are adult friends this implies a full-grown, full-blown habit, quality, or characteristic in us, like it or not.

Four ~ Four corners of the earth, physical, worldly, material matters, doing things in a material manner, doing things the hard way, hard work.

Now how does all of this piece together (if it does at all?). Well you had four friends there at the restaurant. This seems to suggest a material aspect of yourself. Your physical worldly self. You were already frustrated at that point and told them (yourself) not to bother waiting for their (your) sustenance.

Maybe you are frustrated right now with material and money issues and feel like you want to give up?

If I stick to that idea then your father in the dream could represent a boss/authority figure. You were waiting for sustenance with him first but it never came.. prompting you to convince yourself that it never would.

I was waiting for something earlier this week to do with college and I was getting frustrated too.
Yesterday I find out that one of my lecturers cannot place me in a media institution( I am studying Journalism) for my prac.work.
So now I have to find somewhere to go and I have been everywhere I can but to no avail.
I actually DON'T know what to do now as I NEED these hours or else I can't graduate next year.
I AM FRUSTRATED to say the least.

Bloodredmoon Thank you for your interpretation but somehow I can't see how it fits into my reality?
