I am always dreaming about being in school, and Im not a student (at least not in school) in my real life. I have read that dreaming about school means that you are supposed to or you are currently learning a lesson. However in my dreams Im never really in a classroom. I am just walking around the halls of school and never end up entering a class room at all. A few times I have gotten lost in the hall and couldnt find my classroom and a few times I never even found my way to the school itself, there were always obstacles keeping me from getting there.

Just wondering if anyone else had any insights on the school themed dream.

I have dreams like that a LOT!! I always figured it was my guilt at not finishing high school and getting my GED instead.

It'll be interesting to hear what people have to say about it

Man, can I relate. I used to be plagued by school dreams. More often than not, I would have trouble getting to my locker and then to class on time, and almost invariably I would not remember my combination, although I would always try to guess and it would be right, but then the proper books would not be in the locker so I would run to class, which was usually in some obscure part of the building, and I would be late. And then of course there would be a surprise test which I would be completely unprepared for.

The last time I had this sort of dream (years ago) I became semi-lucid. I was sitting there, stressed out, wondering how I was going to slide through this one, when all of a sudden the whole scene became rather comical and I said "Wait a minute, I don't have to do this any more!"

Never had the dream again, thank goodness.

Yes, it must be about learning, testing, obstacles, choices ... and at times, feeling lost, stressed, wayward, anxious ... that was certainly my experience.

I think Ive only actually made it to a class room in one of my school dreams. It was an English/Reading class and I fell asleep and the teacher was yelling at me.

In the last one, the school was way far away so a lot of people (including myself) stayed in hotel rooms near the school during the school week. I remember in the dream worrying more about who I was gonna share a hotel room with me than I was getting to class. Again I was walking around the halls aimlessly looking for my classroom and never find it.

When I had that dream, I had asked Archangel Raziel to send me a dream about what Im supposed to be learning...and thats what he gave me. I guess I need to find my "classroom" so to speak before I can learn anything.

This is funny! I dreamed about school last night. I was in class and the teacher wanted to know why I missed the test earlier that day. I told him because I was in my regular scheduled classes... what test?? He said his test was earlier and it was the second one I missed and I was supposed to skip other classes to take his tests. I was like "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!! Give the test during your class not during others!"

Maybe that's why I'm tired this morning.
