I have begun to interpret my dreams but last night's dream really scared me now since I (tried)interpreting it.Here's a brief sypnosis of it: I was visiting my friend @ his house when all of a sudden we heard a helicopter flying around his house. We knew it was the police. So, we tried to hide in the house but wherever we were, the helicopter seemed to be there outside where we were hiding inside. This carried on and on and eventually we hid in the bathroom but the helicopter was hovering outside the window, and hovered for a few minutes before flying off. In the dream we did nothing illegal or anything that may warrants the police to come and question us. At the time of this dream, I was at his house sleeping over. Anyway I looked up the various meanings of the symbols, like the helicopter, the bathroom the hovering and they all lean towards religion and Church. I have been thinking about why this dream occured and the only conclusion I came to is the fact that I need to get back on the righteous path soon. Not only me, but my friend too. We both don't attend Church and we don't practise our religion. Every now and then, I do pray. The thing is I don't want to go back to Church as I don't like the atmosphere that surrounds it-meaning it is not my scene. If I have to go back on the path, do I have to attend Church or can't I practice my religion some other way? Please help me out here guys-my soul depends on it. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Hi Yang, I'm sure Ra'll get to this, but the helicopter etc, need not mean the same thing to you that they might to other people. So if the interpretation doesn't feel right it probably isn't. (But you sound like it does. Like you feel sort of guilty about not doing what people expect of you even though you can't see why you should.) Do you have beliefs or a lifestyle that people around you don't approve of. Have you ever been on the receiving end of society's judgementalism? Is that even a word? Anyway, just a few thoughts that crossed my mind while I was reading your dream. SunShyne

How old are you guys? I'm thinking the police could represent some kind of authority-- parents, maybe? I have more ideas, but this is a good place to start.

Great thoughts SunShyne, I think you and future_uncertain are right on.Hello Yang. I would not have immediately made the religious connection, although there are hints that spiritual energies could be involved - being blocked or in need of attention (police helicopter). But since it does seem to mean something to you, I'm sure it factors in. The possibility that I see is that you may be hiding out of guilt although you want to come clean, or be honest? Parents or other authority figure (work/school related?) could certainly be involved in the situation, perhaps playing the role of keeping-you-straight ... or, because the police helicopter is part of 'air' symbology, and therefore spirit/thought/communication, it could be some aspect of your higher awareness, or a religious authority. Whatcha think? IP: Logged |

Oh, and there is more than one Path, my friend ... and not all of them require that you attend Church. IP: Logged |

Thank you Guys SunShyne- I believe in Astrology, reincarnation and stuff like that, whereas family members don't, especially my sister. I am 21 years old future_uncertain. Ra- The only guilt I may be guilty of is that I don't want to be religious, I just want to enjoy life as it happens but without religion banging on my door! Perhaps that is my guilt, if you can call it that at all? One thing I must mention is that I 'lied' but at the time I didn't know, although I thought I did. MY friend I mentioned in my dream DOES attend Church ever so often. IP: Logged | |
